I used nistatin for about 2 or 3 days, I dropped it because I had the taste of nistatin 2 or 3 hours and I didnt notice improvements.
Paranasal CT is the ONLY test that I got positive results (I had test for helycobacter, GER, Rx, endoscopy, blood test, etc. all negative)
It would be helful if you can scan your CT and post here.

Well they gave me the liquid insted of te powder, wich pisses me off because now I cannot make the snizzle to put up my nose.
I swshed it and actually it doesnt taste too bad,and the taste diminished pretty quickly. I hope I keep trying it but I am not fond of it because I know I dont have thrush.
Shes a lovely doctor but now I know she cant help me.
All I can do is hope for bad results with the scan later today, and hope my ent will atleast be a little knowledgable
I know there are people in my city going through this, I am in the second largest city in Michigan, when I go to walgreens theres always products missing from the shelf, so that means people are buying these products for a reason. Meijers store was the only ones selling the tung gel. I went to 3 different meijers and kno one had it anymore. I am surprised that walgreens and rite aid dont carry it. There starting to make me mad
Walgreens is a pharmacy , and they didnt even know what eno salt is, and no tung gel
If a pharmacy would open that only carried pharmaceuticals I bet they would hace good business..

I guess my next step is to order silver sinus.
It's suppposed to wipe out mold fungus, since my doc says there is no mold fungus eliminator nose spray.
From what Ive read in the internet I understand that they've found through research that mold fungus is involvee in alot of cases. I guess most doctors are just not knowledgable.
I must say I am on medicaid. I know for sure my doc delivers babies in middle of the night and probably deals with other minor headaches
But she was older and she didnt know anything. Would this even be in a doctors field. Do docs learn about dental issues
Is there anyone in here that has af

The only treatment for fungal sinusitis is surgery . Don't use silver sinus spray because silver is toxic and can cause argyrosis

Silver is very effective at eliminating bacterial infections (Hill and Pillsbury, 1939Go; Silver, 2003Go) and so has been extensively used in the past for medicinal purposes. The medical literature cites numerous cases of argyria appearing after the use of silver-containing preparations. Hill and Pillsbury (1939)Go analyzed data from 357 recorded cases of argyria and argyrosis. Of the 357 cases, 317 followed therapeutic use of colloidal silver and silver compounds and the remaining 40 were due to occupational exposure to various silver compounds and metallic silver.

Colloidal silver protein has been used as an allergy and cold medication (Jacobs, 1998Go; Bouts, 1999Go; Gulbranson et al., 2000Go; Tomi et al., 2004Go), in eye drops to alleviate soreness (Loeffler and Lee, 1987Go) and for the treatment of various ailments (White et al., 2003Go). The adverse affects from extended use of colloidal silver protein in these cases were grossly discolored fingernails, ocular argyrosis, and generalized argyria. The location and degree of discoloration depends on the mode of application (i.e. nose spray or eye drops) as well as individual susceptibility (Fowler and Nordberg, 1986Go).

A number of cases of generalized argyria were reported following the use of anti-smoking tablets (Van Garsse and Versieck, 1995Go), lozenges (MacIntyre, 1978Go; Shelton and Goulding, 1979Go), and gum (Jensen et al., 1988Go) that contained silver acetate, as well as following the habitual use of silver foil-coated mouth refresheners (Sato et al., 1999Go).

Generalized argyria occurred after using a topical solution of silver nitrate three times a week for 2.5 years to control gingival bleeding. Severe pigmentation developed and the patient no longer appeared to be Caucasian. During an abdominal operation (unrelated to the argyria), silver deposits were reported in her liver, spleen, intestines, and pancreas (Marshall and Schneider, 1977Go). Others have also reported generalized argyria after the use of silver nitrate to treat an intestinal ulcer (Steininger et al., 1990Go) and oral ulcerations (Aaseth et al., 1981Go; Lee and Lee, 1994Go).

A few cases of localized or generalized argyria have been reported following the use of silver sulfadiazine cream for the treatment of wounds. One patient developed localized argyria in a scar after silver sulfadiazine cream was applied to a postsurgical wound (Fisher et al., 2003Go). In another case study, a 1% silver sulfadiazine cream was applied to leg ulcers for 5 months. The patient developed generalized argyria and the area around the ulcers became severely discolored (Payne et al., 1992Go).

Mild allergenic responses have been attributed to dermal contact with some silver compounds (Marks, 1966Go; Catsakis and Sulica, 1978Go; ATSDR, 1990Go). A worker developed a rash on his forearms, face, and neck after exposure to a silver cyanide solution (Heyl, 1979Go).

Three cases of localized argyria were caused by silver earrings (Van den Nieuwenhuijsen et al., 1988Go; Shall et al., 1990Go; Sugden et al., 2001Go). All three cases were due to the cutaneous implantation of a silver earring backing, either in the ear lobes or directly behind the ear. Discoloration was confined to the skin around the embedded earring backings. Two cases of localized argyria occurred after years of acupuncture therapy. In both cases, silver acupuncture needles had been implanted in the skin for >10 years and blue–black spots developed in various areas on their bodies (Tanita et al., 1985Go; Sato et al., 1999Go).

I am wondering who else is experiencing this? I use the lightin the back for about 10 min, and the front for 5, evry time I develop this slight itch more noticable around the back. I am wondering could this mean its working, and who else felt it. I hop its meaning iits effective.
I do seem fresher after I use it but I get discouraged when my tongue is not pink.
I do think I am developing hairy tongue, even though my doc says tongue looked normal, wich I dont believe. I dont really think theres anything normal about my tongue, I guess I could be wrong. I cant wait for ent app, I hope to get some answers

FYI . Hope those novel treatments can become reality , one of them : the FREAKING blue light

Control of halitosis-generating and other microorganisms in the non-dental upper respiratory tract
United States Patent Application 20060047329
Kind Code:
A1

Abstract:
Disclosed are safe, simple and effective broad-spectrum treatments for halitosis and other microbial infections of the nondental upper respiratory tract useful to treat bacterial and other microorganism species, including anaerobic bacteria. Electromagnetic radiative energy including visible, and optionally, thermal, RF and/or microwave wavelengths, is topically applied to internal surfaces of the upper respiratory tract to destroy or incapacitate superficial microorganisms without the use of antibiotics. One useful apparatus is a handheld energy applicator having a light output head suitable for treating the back of the tongue and the tonsils and which may be interchangeably provided with extensions to reach the sinuses. The energy applicator can be supported and guided by a mounting device held between the subject's teeth, if desired. Useful embodiments of the invention include preparative treatment of the target surfaces with a photosensitizing agent such as an oxidizing agent or a complementary stain. Optionally a pre-treament procedure may be employed to remove detritus and microfloral overgrowths that may mask more deeply resident target microorganisms. Novel treatments include treatment of halitosis by destruction of bacterial species associated with halitosis, such as Atopobium parvulum, by application of non-ionizing radiative energy to the tonsils and the back of the tongue. Another embodiment comprises a candy bar incorporating a halitosis treatment lamp disposed within the candy.

Have you ever tried nasal irrigation using a neti pot .

A neti pot looks like a tiny tea pot. At first you might think that it is a bizarre idea because you tilt your head and pour a saltwater solution from the pot, into one nostril and let it flow out of the other nostril - but with very little practice it becomes simple, soothing and not at all unpleasant. Here are a few links that should help.

Yes I started using neti feb of this year 09, with not much success.
So just recently I bought the niel med sinus flush, its a squeeze bottle, and its supposed to be better at flushing out particles. I told my doc I was using this and tld her sometimes it makes me more stuffy, and she said that most people do get stuffier from thes things, I cannot remember her explanation
