bad breath

hi i have been suffering from bad breath for last 20yrs. i have visited many doctors. they simply cleaned my teeth and recommanded a mouth wash.
my problem still persists. if something inserted into my gaps in between tooths and remove and smell it then it smells like rotten eggs.
can some one help
