I think it's very clear now that minerals really work!!!!
there was a thread a few weeks ago from somebody who was cured after taking boron. I just ordered some magnesium capsules, but I think you still have to change you diet in to eating more alkaline foods.
I think diet is the hardest thing for us( I have noticed)

Report on Day 1 of using Alum
I used regular toothpaste to brush my teeth in the morning, then applied some alum to my tongue before scraping it. Then used alum mixed with water as mouthwash.
I must say I was not prepared for this Alum effect, searching is very right when he says "be very careful" because I have never felt sensations like this before. I thought I was only using a little but maybe I put too much!? I literally only used what I thought was a speck on my toothbrush and in the diluted water. Yet it literally felt like someone was plowing my mouth with a vacuum, it felt quite dry afterwards as well. After a few minutes of washing my mouth out with water I did have a refreshing feeling in my mouth, like all the biofilm was completely gone. Maybe this is actually what a bb free mouth is supposed to feel like? But it was weird for me because I'm not used to this?
Soo off to work I went, this was the first day -- since I cant remember -- I didn't get any nose rubbing/ backing away reactions. But at the same time, I don't know if this is just in my head/ being confident with trying a new regime? I'm lucky that I live 5 mins from work; so on my lunch I was able to brush and rinse with the alum again. The effect was not as harsh as it was in the morning. Throughout the day, I felt like my bb was better, until I drank a frappucino and could smell it a bit. However, when I ate other foods, I did not smell them at all. Which is a huge change, because usually my bb mixes with whatever I eat to produce an amalgamated sour smell. So it seems the Alum was able to deodorize everything -- except for the frappucino.
[fyi I have PND/ nasal issues] I noticed after using Alum, I was triggered to cough/spit up mucus/ thick saliva for quite a while. Not sure if this is maybe I used to much Alum!? I know searching did say "ALUM can burn if applied to mucus membranes at too high a concentration." Usually I don't feel my PND dripping to my throat but today I could.
I will continue to update on the results but must warn everyone that wants to try it to be careful to use only a TINY bit at first. Sorry for the long ass update

DAY 5 OF USING ALUM
I don't think it works for me unfortunately
yes it does work ok as shitbreath said for temporary relief but its not that effective. And I find it to be too harsh on my mouth; I think I'm actually getting canker sores from it. So going to pass on this one; unless I haven't given it enough of a chance yet?
Searching, how many days did you use it to get the full effect?
Gonna have to look up other options. Luckily, I was finally able to convince my doc to refer me to an ENT. Hopefully I will get more success with the PND route. Guess its back to thera breath for now

Alum immediately provided a good result. I still use it occasionally, especially when traveling, or on days when I skip using oral irrigation. At most I use it once daily.
I too would have stopped if canker sores had developed.
I'm sorry this wasn't the answer. I wish you success in finding a method that safely works for you.
