From what I read, pot-belly is usually nothing other than the weakened muscle wall of the abdomen/abdominal fat. So it's not necessarily due to intestinal enlargement - but in some cases it might be. Also, I know people with pot bellies who eat nothing but shit food every day and they breath smells fresher than mountain air.
Have you tried a low carb diet?

May not be relevant at all but the 1st couple of times i did water fast, I'd vomit bile after 3-4 days on water, I'd vomit A LOT of it. That stopped happening after a couple of fasts.trey wrote:Guys I know this tread is old now.Just an update,I did tonsillectomy and it didn't help at all.I just met a homeopath recently he is very sure my problem is bile secreted from my liver and he is very confident he can get in back under control.I'm very optimistic this might help because no doctor has ever mentioned bile and liver to me before.I also have this abdominal fat(pot belly) that you guys mentioned.I raised Candida concerns to him too.He said everything will be normal even if it Candida. So try homeopathy too or look into bile issues too it might be the culprit.
I understand how you feel about homeopathy.Funny enough even though I can swear with my life I have had success with it before in 2006, I still have doubt about it maybe because of how people have downplayed its effectiveness on the internet. But right I have no choice because I have done everything possible to eliminate bad breath.I have done extensive Candida diet, taken various herbs and probiotic, did endoscopy, took my tonsils out,did h.pylori breath test, seen various dentists, tackled acid reflux but all to no avail. I have literally done everything and over $10,000 in debt because I'm not fully insured. The bills come in the mail everyday. So homeopathy is the last resort right now.halitosisux wrote:Good luck trey. I don't really understand much about homeopathy, and what I do understand sounds like quackery to me, but if excess bile is the culprit then perhaps this doctor will know how to help you reduce it - and the inflammation.

As for the pot belly,I have it when I eat high carb diet. When I was on Candida diet, the pot belly disappeared but Candida diet is another misery of its own.I won't try it again.
The homeopath is very confident he can help me and already my breathing has drastically improved cause my sinuses are clear.I also recently put away my eye glasses I have been wearing since 2007 because of eye pain and headache. Those are gone now.I can say I'm seeing an improvement.I have personally decided to dedicate one year of treatment with the homeopath but in 2006 it took only 3months.I pray it works this time again.

I personally have tried homeopathy before and it did not have any effect whatsoever. But that was something I tried on my own after researching on the internet, didn't actually go to a specialist. So if this works for you, I guess I would be willing to go see a specialist.

Please excuse my ignorance because I know next to nothing about diet and how it relates in the body and the gut, but as I understand, the more carbs and sugars in our diet the MORE bacteria we have inside our gut - and not just more bacteria but more of the "bad" bacteria when it comes to staying healthy down there.
Most of our shit is actually dead bacteria which has consumed the food we've eaten. So if there's an increase in bacteria, we're not just talking about a thin layer on the lining of the intestines, we're talking about KILOGRAMS of extra stuff sitting in the gut - so it's no wonder the gut gets physically bigger when we eat bacteria-promoting foods. Since the gut is so important to our overall health, this undesirable situation could potentially lead to other health issues that then lead to bad breath, such as PND.
Whether it's cutting out carbs or irritants to the intestine like gluten, it's worth trying everything that can make a difference, particularly to the biggest culprit of them all - PND.
The dieting is a waste of time if Candida is not really your problem.
I will keep you guys updated with my progress.StillHoping wrote:Trey, please keep us updated on your progress.
