Good luck iva!! it just goes to show how important it is to rule out any dental suspicions, whether it turns out to be the cause of your BB or not, its something which could have been had you not investigated it.
People can spend a whole lifetime with BB. They can have perfect dental hygiene, which ironically only goes to maintaining the suffering, but something hidden which dentists either dont notice or consider harmless is all it takes.
Drastic, good luck.. i wouldnt mention bleeding though, if there is any they will see it for themselves, as long as you feel convinced they might be causing problems then just mention pain. They cannot ignore pain and they have no excuse not to deal with it. As for BB, that's way too harmless!

I know its a bit early but can you tell anything so far.
I just came across some information from a hospital website in the Uk.
Its shocking information really. So, I intend to take it with me to the dental appointment. Along with the webpage address so he doesnt think I am making this up.
I main point of complaint will be pain. Even if Ihave none I will say pain and the fact that these wisdoms are impacted to a degree causing food impaction and pain.
This time I have evidence printed out to demand treatment.
I just going to ask the necessary questions in all this trying to get the dentist to admit that there is a problem.
I plan to dress nicely in a professional manner like I was going for a job interview. No way he can think i am some homeless bum. I might smell like halitosis but I can sure fix up myself to look good.
So, I intend to speak in a clearly, logical, intelligent manner. No use crying and all. They might see me as mental patient 'nut' in the head.
So, no mention of bad breath. Just my pain and food impaction in the wisdom gum pockets.
SO, I will report back to you all how it goes. I am hoping to bring along a print out to see what it is.
For sure I dont need to mention bad breath all this new dentist needs to do is just smell it when I walk in the room.

I just got back from my new dentist.
He asked me why i was here?
I told him excessive pain in the wisdom area. Lower wisdoms.
I told him pain. He asked how often I told him every week.
BTW I am in pain right now the right lower wisdom feels tender in the gum area.
I told him I was here today because of my wisdoms nothing else. I mentioned getting frequent infection. He mentioned how often?
I said every month. Which is true.
I told him I cant be taking time off to visit dentist since I have to go to work being a professional and all.
So, he said he sees the problem. They are not grown out fully but impacted to a degree.
I said yes, and with my age they wont grow out any further. He agreed to that.
Itold him about he gum flap trapping food he agreed.
I said yes, all this is a bit too much so I want to take them out and avoid the frequent pain and infection.
He said yes. And the new dentist gave me a referral letter to take to the hospital.
So, I am excited at the moment.

I am doing just fine, I think I can almost certainly declare I am cured.
Not that my breath will ever be as fresh as a baby`s, but there is a HUGE difference.
My mouth tastes clean and nice, I almost do not have plaque on my teeth, which would builf up immediately before.
But I am still unsure and painfully sensitive to any reactions. There are still some people that slightly react, so I guess it takes some time for the extraction to heal. After all there is a big hole there and it has been only 10 days since the extraction.

Perhaps the stomach and sinuses can produce some smell, but it is minor and different from the one from decaying tooth.

No I didn`t know about my wisdom tooth nor did the 4 dentists obviously. But God sent the fifth dentist who noticed a pocket there and suggested the extraction.
My wisdom tooth did not bleed, but I noticed bad taste whenever I touched it with my tongue. I never thought it could be the reason for such a disgusting and strong bad bretah, but it was.
The dentist found pus in the pocket around the tooth, which was only partially erupted.

So I went for my dental appointment yesterday. I was expecting to be fobbed off with the usual, your teeth and gums are really healthy...but I told the dentist that I have a bad taste around my top wisdoms, and that I get food stuck up there and the gums can get sore sometimes. He thouroughly examined these teeth and took some x-rays.
He said my top wisdoms were not fully erupted and the x-ray showed pockets between the jaw bone, gum and tooth. He recommended extraction. So I'm having them out next Wednesday...

Anyway, it looks like my wisdom extractions will take a while. I have to wait for the hospital to send me my appointment letter. The hospital is the one who will take out my wisdoms. So, it seems like it will be a while for me.
I am trying to keep positive but when I think of how long I have to wait to get my appointment letter. I get a bit worried and frustrated.
But atleast I know things are in progress and that I have tried to help myself instead of sitting down and giving up.
