I bought chlorella today but it seems its not the same as regular chlorella... It comes in capsules of 500mg instead of tablets and it says "broken cell wall chlorella" instead of just "chlorella". I dont know if its the same thing. It also says that I only can take up to 3 capsules/day and I should not exceed that dosage and thats strange because chlorella being a natural supplement, normally shouldnt have such strict dosage rules. I dont know if its any different.... What do you guys think?

Over ten days on it and no result. Its definitely the stuff I tried a good few years back.

Maybe it might be beneficial for general health but its not solving this problem.

Ok something a little strange just happened.
I'm going to sleep in a while so I went to brush my teeth (note that since I'm trying chlorella I decided to brush my teeth only once a day for a few days to see what happens) and I noticed that after barely brushing my tongue with the toothbrush my tongue became as pink as when I brush with the TUNG brush (havent used TUNG brush for almost a week).

I'm 5 days on chlorella, 2 days of which I didnt take any because I was sick and I thought maybe chlorella has anything to do with it :p and on the others I was on a lower than normal dosage (1-2pills instead of 3). BB during those 5 days wasnt horrible but I felt it stink on some points (maybe it has to do with me brushing once a day lol :p ).

Anyway, I cant say much for sure yet because I was sick those days so noone knows if it did anything to me or not but I guess I'll be able to tell in 2 weeks.

said the guy with the 3 posts...

Yeah I'm working for the ****ing company lol

Oh well now everyone knows. Sorry guys I have to confess something. All that time I've been posting here and at the healthboards it was because I was paid by Katz and his (even more) evil twin Dogz to promote TheraBreath products and other fake bad breath related products that never work. Oh well there goes another high paying job :|

Chlorella company... shame on you, noptical!

Anyway, i am taking Chlorella for about 10 days now, and it does not work. I take 6 pills (3000 mg) a day, 3 in the morning 3 in the evening. It helps some, but it's not the cure. If I have a bad breath lets say 5 on a 5 measures scale, now it's about 3.5-4 with taking Chlorella. So I am not satisfied.

Are you really interested? If yes, I can send you some though I doubt I'm going to buy any of that same brand for me again. I'm planning to order some from a German webshop (which I found on a previous search but I fail to do so now) because what I'm using now is kind of suspicous like I said in my previous post and too damn expensive. (but if this works, I hope other type of chlorellas work too, because if they arent im of course will keep buying this brand :p)

I bought this thing 25€ and it has 100 capsules and not tabs like all the other chlorellas.
Also this chlorella sais "cell-wall chlorella" and I fail to understand whats the difference with a normal chlorella.
Also it says on the package that I should only take max 3/day and not exceed the dosage and also that I should ask my doc before taking it to make sure it doesnt interfere with any meds. Now that last part is the most suspicous. All this time researching about chlorella I learned that chlorella is a 100% natural product and dosages vary from 1 pill/day to like 10/day or something and since its food no matter how much you take it wont do anything bad (as long as you dont take the whole bottle at once of course lol). Now all this makes me think, If this chlorella will help me will other brands of chlorella help me too or I will depend completely on this brand because this one's different than the rest. I hope its not the latter because look what happened to Lavoris :p

Btw the brand is "Solgar" and they make other supplements too. Thing is wherever I search for chlorella I see lots of brands but not this one...

Crap it took my a visit to another city and more than 1 hour of searching to find a brand thats more expensive than the rest and different in any aspect.

However, I think this thing is helping a little bit. I'll tell you in a few weeks, currently I'm unsure because I am recovering from a cold.

Oh you mean because I work on a chlorella company.

Sorry we're currently completely out of stock now... I have convinced all those bad breath suckers on various forums that chlorella is the solution so the demand is pretty high right now.

Coming near the end of the bottle of chlorella tabs. No difference whatsoever. I will finish the last few but seeing as this is my second visit at trying chorella as a solution - and given that nobody else has confirmed any real or lasting improvement, I'm closing the door on it.

am trying chlorella now - on my second day. maybe there's a slight improvement in my breath, but then it coulld be the placebo effect. also because when i am pms-ing my breath tends to get worse. then when i get my period my bad breath eases up. and taking the chlorella kind of coincides with my period starting... so only time will tell.

i'll report again later.

Well I dont see it improving anymore. I think I have a slight improvement especially on morning breath. It still stinks but it doesnt smell nearly as bad. Or so I think. Also my tongue still has the white gunk on it but its not as much on the surface as it was before. Still not a solution though.

But its still the solution for some, so you better try it. Because it didnt work for me doesnt mean it wont work for you too.

Yes - but to a point. There has to be a stage where this forum closes the door on certain treatments when it becomes clear that its not having any real and lasting effect.

There are always going to be links for this stuff (and a multitude of other products) on the net suggesting that its the cure. The opportunity here is that people can have confidence in the info posted. Furthermore, if we do reach a point where we're satisfied that a certain treatment doesnt work, advising others of this is going to do a couple of things;
1. save them money
2. save them placing misguided hope in that treatment
3. encourage them to fast track onto the next treatment that is being discussed as a possible solution - which is better for them and for us all as a whole.
