Besides I find it hard to believe that your bb would just go away after you gained some weight.
Agreed.

i really think there might be some sort of correlation between fast metabolism and bb. i'm also one of those people that shed weight by the kilos during less than normal food consumption. furthermore, my bb all started right at the beginning of adolescence, a period when hormones start driving our rapid growth spurt and was when i lost a crap load of weight. i think this could be one contributing factor that no mouthwash or sinus cleaning can cure. there could be some sort of mild TMAU-like syndrome that people with fast metabolism suffer from which no one has ever studied.
but then again, correlation is not causation...

Still 22 and still about the same weight.
5'7" 120-125 lbs
I've been eating more often and taking additional protein but I doubt I'm gaining any weight.. I realize that my lifestyle promotes a fast metabolism (weight training several times a week and healthy meals), but this is ridiculous.
There are more fat people in america, but more small people with BB. We should be rewarded for our sleek, ripped, attractive bodies

dear missy, i believe u have Age-related digestive problems. as you said you are now over 50, and the bb started resently esp for the last 6 years, unfortuntly that is the time when digestive enzyme production decreases, and many people experience problems related to metabolic disorders

My BMI= 18.6....Normal weight = 18.5-24.9...so Im on the verge.
U guys I think we are making a great discovery...well someone else might have discovered it already...but I'll like to think that we're actually contributing to researches out there...and I see a lot of underweight ppl or ppl that r just on target with their weight like myself. Unless the overweight ppl haven't responded to this post yet that is.
Ne-ways, I've always been told I had a fast metabolism by my family, cause i would always run to the bathroom after a meal

and bb started during my teenage yrs as well...

A survey was made last year... ...these were the body types of 76 bb sufferers:
Slender 23
Athletic 12
Average 29
Some extra baggage 12
Those stats look kinda normal, I guess..? More slim types than fatsoes, but no extreme pattern...

Of the 12 who said they had "Some extra baggage", 6 were women, 5 men, and 1 didn't specify. So pretty even

I used to weigh 210 pounds, now 150. My bb is the same. Weight is definitely not a factor.
