I mostly lurk but this topic really got my attention because I was involved with a man in a similar situation about 12 years ago.

I told myself that I was being nice to him as a "friend" while all the time I was being used. And I was being doubly screwed because we were sleeping together.

Please stop making excuses for this person. The only "poor one" is you......thanks to her. She's not your
friend.....a friend wouldn't treat you like this. When she senses you are slipping away, suddenly she's calling and confusing you. She doesn't want her "bank account" closed.

I hope you can get your money back. I never did and unfortunately I'm now not trusting anybody. You need to love yourself and always know that you come first and deserve someone better than her. She knows how much you care for her and she knows that she can always get what she wants from you. Do yourself a favor and prove her wrong!!
