Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd announced on Tuesday an exclusive in-licensing agreement with CD Pharma to market the Inersan brand in India and Nepal.
The patented product, a probiotic preparation, is used for the treatment of dental problems such as periodontitis, gingivitis and halitosis. Presently, there is no particular drug available for the treatment of this dental problem. Inersan, a natural biological product, would be the first-of-its-kind to be introduced in India.

I can't find any information besides pubmed saying these are "lactobacilli lozenges" which makes it no different than yogurt. The company creates a very high-potency probiotic product containing 250 billion bacteria called VSL#3, so Inersan could be a concoction with very high concentrations of bacteria in the form of a lozenge. It could very well be the same product, in lozenge form, made for India/Nepal
