Cardio and fresher breath?

Improve your cardiovascular system and see a massive improvement to the health of your mouth. I always considered myself as having weak lungs, because all my life i would get easily winded espcially when alot of running was involved. Up until a few weeks ago, i never or hardly ever do cardio or cardio filled activities. I changed this by setting goals for myself and trying to run atleast 1 mile a day. This goal was never intended to help my BB, this was just merely a byproduct of having an improved cardiovascular system compared to what i have had all my life. I combined this with a nasal irrigation every morning and the results are spectacular.

.

My theory is this: Our mouth is part of a massive cardiovascular/digestive system. Think of this system as a filter. The filters job is to clean the air we breath as well as oxidize our blood cells. When you dont train this aspect of your body, the filter is very inefficient at doing its job. When its inefficient expect problems to occur, i.e. halitosis. The harder you train it with strenuous cardiovascular heart racing workout on a daily routine, you begin to transform your entire cardiovascular system. Yes exercising does dry out your mouth, but thats temporary to the long term solution. When you continue to improve CVS (Cardiovascular System) saliva flow will double, oxygen is far more abundant in your body

Rememeber part of killing BB is with oxygen, when you have moore capacity and more effiecient system, you allow more oxygen to store in your blood cells. Everything from your nose, to your throat, to the scilia and lungs will become a filtering machine. Sending out more saliva in your mouth, cleaning up the junk in the back of your throat and thinning out mucous.

Basically i have seen such tremendous improvement over the past weeks. Im getting excited that one day i will be 100 percent cured. Remember it takes more than just lifting weights or excercising. You have to commit to having a strenuous cardio routine were it continually pushes your lungs and heart with every excercises. Walking or even fat burning excercises like tae bo is not enough. You have to run untill your lungs cave in or swim. The important part is to work your lungs and heart to the fullest. Rememebr everyones body is different, hence why you, a healthy person might have BB versus an totally unhealthy out of shapre individual with fresh as can be breath. Their is no single solution.

I will continue to update how im doing in the next few weeks now that im also using nasal irrigation.

Sorry for my grammar its late so i dont have time to edit.

Sometimes when I run my throat gets really agetated from the influx of air i breath in. I remember when I was in the mountains in Thailand my BB was far less. Maybe this is due to the healthier air I was breathing...?

Exciting! That's a really interesting link between cardio efficiency and bb. We look forward to your updates.

God bless

By experience, I believe that cardio exercise can tremendously improve bb. About four years ago, I ran about 4 miles four times a week and I was still struggling to quit smoking at that time. I observed that my bb was actually at its worst during my running routine, very few people in the gym would want to use the threadmill beside the one I was using. However, my bb was mild after that and my nasal bb was non-existent outside the gym. A few months after that, I got preggy with my second daughter and hit an all-time high of 74kg. It is during this period that my nasal bb became very prevalent and it still is (only milder) at my current 66kg frame. I will try to run again as I had knee problem before and see what the results will be this time. I plan to lose 1-2 kg each month until I reach my ideal 56kg. But this time I will try to do it on the road.

My ENT also believe in infusing your cells with oxygen by exercising out-doors. This may be true clinically but for some reason, it is not working out for me. I came from Manila, Philippines where polution is very high to Singapore where it is kept to minimum. But my bb actually started here in Singapore. Maybe humidity is another factor.

I also play the flute. And at 63 kg, it actually eliminates my bb for about 3-4 hours post-practice of 1-2hours everyday. I have not been practicing actively in the last year as I am becoming more and more depressed with my bb and my life.
