I've never posted in the past on this site but just decided to do so. I've been to many dentists, periodontists, homeopaths, ENT's, allergists and gastroentrologists with no luck what so ever. Every one says the same thing that they can't find anything wrong with me and they send me off to someone else and I have been stuck in a vicious cycle. Even got my tonsils taken out 2 years back which made no difference to my bb.
Anyways, rinsing with any kind of mouth wash (with alcohol, without alcohol) makes my breath worse. Even chewing on cardamom or cleaning tongue with turmeric (which is antibacterial) makes my breath real bad. Anything I've listed above I use makes people smell my breath from as far as 7 - 8 feet and they react to it while they can somehow tolerate my breath when I don't use any of the above.
Using baking soda is also bad and it dries up my mouth. Lately I've been brushing my tongue with apple cider vinegar and it helps keep my mouth nice and moist. I try not to get it in contact with my teeth. I do this in the night before going to bed and when I get up in the morning my mouth is nice and moist and does not dry out. But it has not gotten rid of my bb though. After eating proteins I dip a spoon in ACV and get it on my tongue. This helps in keeping my mouth fresh and not sticky.
As for bb I am 99% sure it is coming from my intestines. I met a accupuncturist yesterday through my friend. She took a whiff of my breath and told me that she suspects I have heat in the stomach. Which will cause food to rot and the smell gets released through the lungs. This explains why my breath gets real nasty when I use mouthwash or other antibacterial stuff. I think the chemical smell mixes with the foul odor expelled from the lungs and gets nasty. To cool the stomach heat she has asked me to drink lots of celery juice every day. I am going to start doing this from today. In addition to that I will start eating lots of cucumbers too because they are cooling. Can some of you also try doing this?

I definently think that yeast plays a part in this!!! I'm big on eating a lot of bread + sugar. Growing up, my mother was notorious for giving us antibiotics. I suspect that all of this has finally taken it's toll on my insides/stomach.
I'll try the celery juice as a possible aide. I'll have to locate a juice bar close to me.

Vivian, you can make your own juice at home. Just get some fresh celery and blitz it in the blender with some water.
John, if you google celery you will be able to find pictures of it. It is a vegetable.
I just went and bought two bunches of celery and made juice out of two stalks. I don't like the flavor but hoping that it will be an acquired taste. I've been eating a lot of cucumbers too today and so far my mouth has been feeling clean. I hope the bb goes away soon.

I'm on a candida diet to at the moment too. I've tried it before and have always ended up giving in after a short time.
But this time I'm determined (had a few really nasty comments that have strengthened my resolve). I've been on it for a week and have to say that I've got less of a bad taste and less coating on my tongue (bread and sugar make my breath terrible and make the coating impossible to remove!)
I think it will help, but probably won't solve the problem. Has anybody done the spit in a glass test? When I did this I had lots of long strings.
If I eat yeast, sugar and simple carbs I get really itchy ears and a bloated stomach, but I haven't had any of this since starting the diet, which makes me think that I do have candida. Have to be VERY strict though, no cheating. One nice side effect is that I've got a flatter stomach, best it's looked in years!!
