Lactose Update

Post by chloe »

Hi everyone,

I was the one who had some good results with fighting my lactose intolerance. I just finished a 34 day program which is supposed to cure me of lactose intolerance and I think it has in some ways - I can eat ice cream now but I hate to tell everyone that my BB is back. I have always had a fecal smell since I was a little kid and it is now back. My husband says it was gone for awhile but it is definitely back.
I don't know why. I thought it had to do with this intolerance but I guess there is more to it. The best thing that came out of this lactose treatment is my colon is very clean. My sh*t smells better then my breath. I'm not kidding. It doesn't smell anymore when I go to the bathroom.
I have no idea why I have BB!

At least your husband tells you. Mine tells me he doesn't smell anything. This doesn't help me.

Chloe, you didn't have BB when you were on your program? :) What exactly is that program?

So your dilemma is either eat ice cream and have BB or no ice cream & no BB. Choice is pretty easy.

I started taking lactose enzymes (any brand at the drugstore) and about two days after I started taking them my breath was fine. It was good for about two weeks and then my BB was back. I thought maybe I should take something stronger and found some lactose enzyme powder on the internet and took that for over 4 weeks but nothing improved, my BB was back for good. I only had ok breath for two weeks but I'm not sure why.
My husband and daughter are the ones that tell me how my breath is.
