bb as symptom of pnd caused by allergies?

I saw an allergy doctor today and had tests done for allergies and an xray for sinus infection. Not sure about the results of the xray yet but the allergy tests came up negative. Regardless, the doc prescribed Allegra (typical allergy med) and Patanase (a nose spray). I intend to start both tomorrow to see if it has an effect on my pnd, "lump in the throat" and bb, but I was just curious if anyone has gone the same route?? I said this in an earlier post but my bb came on 2 years after moving to Florida, then I moved to Texas and the bb disappeared for 1.5 years, then came back. This leads me to believe it could be an allergy related thing. For the 1.5 years of no bb, maybe my body was just adjusting to new types and levels of allergies. I work closely with customers and co-workers so I'm 100% certain from reactions that I had very bad bb, then it went away, then it came back. It's been with me now for maybe 7 years straight. Another related question I have is: Do any of you have bb, but no pnd or "lump in the throat" or other suspected nasal/sinus infection/problems?

I had pnd when my bb started in 1994 but about 4 years ago I tried experimenting on zinc gluconate supplements to bind the odor.My pnd disappeared but I started getting coughing reactions from other people.I also had a very dry mouth so I stopped.I think pnd is a symptom of a weak immune system so when I took high amounts of zinc (which is known to strengthen the immune system)the constant dripping on my throat disappeared.I wouldn`t recommend zinc though coz I think it mutated my bb.

Im so sick of this s*hit its not even funny!!! So....Ive been single for almost 2 years now as a result of this CURSE! I have spent so much time and money trying to figure out whats causing this horrible bb!!

I have PND that I believe is related to it. I have an appointment with an ENT next week and I just wanted to know what I should ask him to test me for? Any suggestions?? IM SOOOO OVER THIS NOW!!!!

Hi frustrated. How long have you had bb?
Don`t give up on searching for a cure coz there had been a lot of people from different sites that found theirs after a while. Milder cases have a very high chance of being cured but finding the right one is the difficult part.I`m an extreme case so things that didn`t work for me sometimes work for others.People that had been around here knows that trial & error is the name of this game.

allergies will be cureable very soon, I read there will be a new medicine out next january ish.

So this is positive for all of us who have pnd as a contributor.
I think the answers for BB are/will be soon available in medicine, its not some impossible disease that will never be cured and we are going to die with, stay positive.

Hey Hank. Very similar thing for me. Went to the ENT and got Allegra and Flonase (nasal spray). I didn't use the Flonase very much cause sometimes it made my nose bleed. The Allegra seemed to help with keepin the snot out of the back of my throat. I ran out of Allegra a couple of weeks ago and the snot came back in a few days. Need to go back to ENT to get my prescription refilled. I don't really think Allegra is a "cure", but it seems to help keep the snot production down which can in turn help the breath issue.

Hi everybody, Prey here
im allergic to dust but i dont think that is causing my bb.
i didnt do the food alergen test ,maybe somthing that i eat is causing pnd and it cause bb.
hey you know what i do yesterday?
normally my breath is bad especially in the evening,so i tried to brus only my tounge with a tongue brush and my bb dissapeared.I spitted my mucus from my throat and it didnt smell anything. after 1-2 hours bb is back.so if i have a sinus infection the mucus smells bad from the sinuses to throat or only when it deposit in my throat and tongue?
This bb is driving me crazy,one day i think it is from my sinuses ,an other day from somewhere else.

So frustrating

Its been about 15 yrs since ive had bb. I was in a very long relationship with a man that didnt mind the bb but unfortunately it ended 2 years ago and its been VERY difficult dating since. Is there any research that links the mucus from pnd to bb??
