I am reading a book by Vernon Coleman.
He is not a wacko, or a new age witch doctor hipee. He is a qualified Doctor, and an author. I am reading his book 'How To Stop Your Doctor Killing You'. I dont want to sound like his new greatest fan, and this book won't contain anything directly on halitosis. However, the basic idea, is something most of us will have suspected, that Medicine is about pushing drugs and making money for the pharmacutical companies. Loads of procedures, advice and of course the drugs they give out are basicly wrong. He goes into all this in detail in the book, which I've only just touched on.
Basicly, I would love to hear his opinion on our situations.
Bad news is, he doesnt reply to individual queries. This is where we can all pull together.
I will write a letter to him, explaining the situation, and linking this site so he can see for himself. I think my letter alone will do almost nothing as he must get things all the time, however if we can get 10+ letters, we may have more influence on him. It would be ideal to all post them at roughly the same time, to bombard him.

I think this guy is a good doctor, one of the too few around. Check out his website and get back to me, what can we lose, its the price of an envelope and stamp.

I finished the book. He is an ex doctor who has seen the workings of the medical establishment from the inside. The money is in the process of finding a cure or treatment of the symptoms, Not actually curing it.
Here is some of the points from the book thatcould be related to us:
+Tap Water has harmful drug residues in it. This could cause some adverse reaction, possibility. Go bottled mineral spring water.
+Stress is very important, find a way to relax, meditation etc. Simple exercise: Breathe in fully, then hold your breath and suck in your stomach. Hold for fives seconds then relax stomach, then breathe out. Repeat
+A man named something alexander said all diseases can be blamed on posture. Alexander technique is basicly a way to have good posture. I believe this has some weight if BB is acid reflux related.
+Exercise+vegetarian diet+Relaxation is healthy way to live
+People can be infected by antibiotic resistant drugs from meat, if the original flora has just been disrupted by a course of antibiotics.
I am going to buy some more of his books, some that relate more to the cure of disease.

Sadly any professional visiting this site will think we're all wacko, what with people saying people in the next door flat etc can smell them etc, and the way previous 'professionals' have been hunted down

I also believe posture can have some effect on reflux etc. I was speaking to another bb guy and we both have swaying backs (lordosis), which is rare in men.

Certainly not as extreme as the bitch on this pic, but you get the idea

I f he's not practising it doesn't mean he doesn't have knolegdge.
