I've never been to a place that "specialises" on the subject. I saw a dentist once about 15 years ago and he sold me a bottle of RETARD-EX liquid for around £25, but it might as well have been called RE-TURD because it improved the situation for about 2 days only for the TURD smell to resume.
I knew from then on i had a serious problem, and had no faith in any products out there because none of it deals with the underlying cause and its all the same really.

I went to a fresh breath clinic about 8 years ago in Manchester. They told me to scrape my tongue, floss and use dentyl ph. The hygienist cleaned my teeth and told me my bb had gone. This cost me £300 The next day at work, someone made a comment about my bad breath. When I called to complain and see the dentist again, he woiuldn't take my calls...

People are ending up being exploited, no question. Its a very sad situation because those with minor fixable problems CAN and DO get helped in such centres. But the thing is, its really no different to any other dentist, and this is where the exploitation comes into it. People are likely to be like us, at their wits-end by the time they visit a breath centre. They will be willing to do anything and pay anything if it might bring an end to the nightmare, especially with the claims they make.
The whole subject of bad breath, from what i understand, isnt even part of the training in dentistry, and their lack of knowledge in the subject is the only thing which a breath centre can claim is what differentiates between them and NOTHING ELSE. They'll claim that people are free to make informed decisions, and in the information age that's a lot easier thank god, but we are vulnerable people and there appears to be no consideration for that. These "specialists" deserve to face the consequences of the anger and frustration shown on here.
The products with which they are affiliated (usually just some form of swimming pool disinfectant or other), which they claim people like us need that will CURE ALL BB do NOT work, but they have their asses covered because they are such clever marketeers.
The only good thing about it all is that its created more awareness of BB. Tongue scrapers and talk of bad breath doesnt feel as taboo as it once did. Eventually people are becoming more aware of what a social disability BB is and will be crying out for better solutions. In time the big pharmaceuticals will pump money into research and new things will be stumbled upon until there is a true cure for everyone.

Yeah i went there years ago. The Fresh Breath Clinic in London.
They charge a fortune to basically do what a regular Hygienist does. Dont waste your money peeps. They give you a bottle of DentylPH mouthwash and a tongue scraper.
The irish hygienist that worked on me though she was hot
