Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Wisdom Teeth Extraction
I had 4 Wisdom Teeth extracted on 7/11/08. I had been experiencing severe pain with the lower right molar and chronic BB for several years. When the teeth were extracted, there were dark, black rings around them. People would usually back away or rub their noses immediately, when I talked with them. I initally went to the dentist, who advised me that I just needed to "brush my gums". It didn't work. I began to research what the root of my problem was, when I discovered that it might be decaying Wisdom teeth. I have read accounts on this website about people who resolved their BB issue with Wisdom teeth extractions. I am in day number 3 of recovering from the extraction. Today, I went to a meeting (for school purposes). I spoke with several people and they didn't back away or rub their noses. This is the first time in several years that the reaction of people has been normal, instead of negative. I know that it may be premature, but I am a little optimistic. I will have a better idea in a couple of days, if things have really improved for me. I am still psychologically damaged by my past experiences.

i hope it was ur cure, for a week i felt the same way after getting my wisdoms removed, but than it went back to what it was b4, or maybe it has gotten better, maybe i was just expecting too much, for it to completely go away. confidence also plays a role in interpreting and focusing or not focusing on reactions and making them more than they are.

And how about that? Ain't that just a great feeling?Humble wrote:Today, I went to a meeting (for school purposes). I spoke with several people and they didn't back away or rub their noses. This is the first time in several years that the reaction of people has been normal, instead of negative.

For the first two weeks or so after I got them out I was on Cloud 9 as far as my breath goes. Don't be upset if it comes back a little though after this initial period. There is a rebound effect. You need to let that gum remold itself and those sockets seal up. It's also important to keep those sockets clean of food debris using the syringe your surgeon should have given you.
