Does anyone think that lactose intolerance may be the cause?

I have had a (home) test which proved negative but wonder about the accuracy of such tests.

Anyone else tested for it?

Food intolarence could be the cause or one of the causes. I dont know if i have any, but there was a few months when i eat no diary at all and although i did see some improvement on my tongue it didnt go away (the bb).

I developed lactose intollerance about 5 years ago, which is about the same time i developed (or noticed) my bad breath.

many people have lactose intollerance though and they dont get bad breath. You can buy tablets (Lacteze) which contain lactase, the enzyme which digests lactose which healthy people have. I use these all the time right before i eat dairy and my breath is still bad.

I *think* I may have taken a course of those tablets - but to no avail. Its ridiculous when so many things have been tried that I simply cannot remember anymore!

So you dont associate bad breath with the lactose intolerance then?

When I started university i remember always having to go to the toilet in the morning after breakfast. I would have a muffin and a coffee and then have instant stomach cramps and diareah. It didnt happen in highschool. I thought it was normal for some reason. At around the same time i noticed people stepping back from me when i talked. It was about a year later when i stopped dairy and felt better and also when i realised that my breath was an issue.

I cant say for sure if they are related because again, many people have lactose intollerance and no bad breath......

I was a milk person until I realized that milk, specially soy milk, is not good for BB as well as many foods with high cocentration of choline. However, I am still drinking rice milk. I do not if it is good or not for BB or if it is high in choline too. Does anyone know about the consequences of rice milk?
