I'm not sure how long my good fortune will last but I have wonderful news. I am free of BB for the last few days

.
My background.
I occasional have bad breath but it gets worse and worse each year. I took a large amount of antibiotics last year for ulcers and my breath went to shit. I have been taking a large amount of colostrum and probiotics but they only help for a few days. I also have acid reflux and post nasal drip. I know that acid reflux gives me bad breath too. I have been watching what I eat but I still have bad breath.
Last week, I went to the market and bought two huge cartons of non-fat yogurt. I have been eating a large amount of yogurt everyday with oat meals. I woke up 3 days ago and my mouth feels amazingly fresh and it has been fresh since. I have eat Damon yogurt before but it doesn't help. Somehow these non-fat, nasty tasting yogurt actually works.
I do Nasal Irrigation twice a day.
I floss after every meal.
I drink a lot of green tea.
I take probiotics and colostrum.
I was talking to my manager today and he didn't cover this nose. Man, what a happy feeling. It costs only 3 bucks for a huge carton. You guys should try it out. I'll keep you guys updated.

Try mixing your yoghurt with water. Half yoghurt half water, and mixing in there fresh ginger and other digestive herbs like cardamom(which does wonders for breath) or an ayurvedic mixture called Trikatu (which contains dried ginger rhizomes). Anyways... This is called Lassi and you are supposed to take it at meal times. In ayurveda yoghurt is considered nutritive, astringent, and a digestive stimulant and has many positive effects on the body.
I find myself that I get bad breath from milk, cheese, and sugary commercial yoghurts. But I buy an organic yoghurt, and when you look at the ingredients its simply organic milk ingredients and bacterial cultures(thats it) This yoghurt seems to have no adverse effects.

ithurts, i read what you said in another thread about irrigating your wisdom teeth and noticing improvements - you should investigate that further.
I would just like to mention that while i still had my wisdom tooth that was causing my BB, yoghurt (natural live yoghurt) reduced my BB quite a lot. Its the only thing apart from metronidazole (antibiotic) and triclosan toothpaste which could reduce it. Not even irrigating my wisdom tooth gum pocket with bleach could reduce my BB for any useful length of time.

I just had another thought too...
Many people with BB seem to report having PND and symptoms of acid reflux etc, whether that has been proven as acid reflux or just suspected.
For quite a few weeks now i've had a cough and a cold (ok man flu

), so i've not been able to notice, but now that it is finally abating, im noticing i dont have the same thick mucus in my throat that i was accustomed to having.
My thought is could PND be a symptom of BB rather than being the cause of BB that many suspect it to be?
If you havent brushed your tongue for a few weeks, have you ever noticed HOW MUCH PND suddenly seems to appear from nowhere when u do?
Could overall bacterial activity or chemicals associated with BB in some way be thickening the mucus at the back of the throat, making us perceive that it is PND when in fact its normal PND but thickened by the toxins and VSCs etc behind the BB?

Mouthwash doesn't do much for me. In fact doesn't reduce my bb at all. So for a while, I thought it was my stomach. I went to get a blood test and found out that I got ulcers. After I was cured of ulcers, I have horrible horrible breath. This is due to the antibiotics and my doctor didn't tell me anything about eating yogurt. He was horrible.
I tried various things and I bb free temporary for a few days but bb always comes back. So I'm a little pessimistic this time. Let's hope it doesn't.
From observation, whenever I have bad breath, my PND tastes horrible. On the days that I don't have bb, my PND doesn't taste as bad.

Yes, just before coming off the antibiotics, its good to flood the system with yoghurt. like a good week before coming off them. Then continue to use a lot of yoghurt after the antibiotics have finished. Make sure there is no refined sugar in the yoghurt though.
I notice that even after anti-biotic therapy BB can come back when eating sugar. I have been off the antibiotics for about a week now, and am drinking yoghurt, and there is no BB. Last time I went off the antibiotics I drank alcohol, ate sugar, and the BB came back. This time I will be me careful, and allow my immune system to grow strong. One herb I have to look into more is something called guggul, supposedly it increases the immune system.
