Read an article where it says: If gums bleed even a little that's periodontal disease....Dentists often tell patients with advanced gum disease to floss more often. But flossing is useless at that point....If after flossing every day and getting a cleaning every few months you still have bb then start looking into diet and or health problems...Use the Waterpik to remove the putrid, germy moat of saliva that surrounds each tooth...AMALGAM (silver) fillings do release a small amount of mercury through wear and tear but removing them can release more mercury than leaving them in....
IF YOU WANT TO REDUCE THE BAD BACTERIA in your mouth, you should be all over XYLITOL (a sugar substitute found in chewing gum). It changes the chemistry of your mouth. Six or seven pieces of xylitol gum every day will help keep cavities away.

Maybe I can make cookies with xylitol or use it in my tea!
