I've managed to pluck up the courage to book an appointment with my dentist to specifically discuss my BB, the thing is I dont know how to bring it up with him...
the other problem is he's really dishy and I go all red and embarrassed when I'm sitting in that dreaded chair.
Any ideas how to subtlety bring up the topic and ask for his help
Change dentists first or just ask another's opinion - dont make it a big deal, use some tact and say your boyfriend keeps complaining for example.
This is one of the most cringeing subjects to have to discuss with people, but try to remember this is a dentist who is totally used to dealing with the stenches from dental problems, it will only feel like a big deal if you turn it into one by being nervous. Just try to assert yourself.
If you absolutely cannot face mentioning your breath in person, do it indirectly, telephone your dentist or write a letter explaining your situation. There's nothing to be ashamed of, most people at some time in their life will experience a phase of having BB due to dental problems, and they'll need to go through just the same as you, so just picture that in your mind when you go.
really don't want to change dentists as he is really good and nice too. I'll have to pluck up the courage to mention it... May do the phone approach - good idea...
