Ok, so Ive been doing the ayurveda thing including nasal rinse (including flip turn style, and ive been doing it for over a week, 2 times a day), and something called vastra dauhti (where you swallow a salt water gauze and take it out), for about 3 days. I have this huge book called the "ayurveda encyclopedia".

One of the diseases is called "puti nasa",
Malodor (púti-násá)—Excess Váyu mixed with
other doshas in the throat and palate roof causes a
malodorous smell in the nostrils and mouth.
Here is the treatment :
Therapies include applying oil and steam to the
nasal passage, emetics, and purgation, taking light
and moderate meals, drinking boiled water, and nasal
inhalation of the smoke from vidanga, pippalí, and
apámárga. Nasal oil is made from mustard oil and
herbs of trikatu, hingwasták, calamus, kushtha,
viæa´ga, and applied daily.
emetics
means vomiting using a drink of special herbs
purgation
is taking herbal oils/laxatives for a few days

So I made the nasal oil by simmering all of those ingredients (except for kushtha and asafoetida contained in the hingwastak) covered for an hour or two and strained it with a coffee filter, and put it in a sterilized dropper bottle. I then boiled a pot of water, and held a tower over my head and inhaled the steam in the nose and out the mouth for a few minutes. I then slightly warmed the oil in the warm water of the pot. I then layed down and put about 4-5 drops in each nostril. I deeply breathed in the oil by alternating closing the nostrils and breathing in. I then layed there with my head back for a few minutes.

I got up, and did my normal things, then about 5 minutes later I felt like I had to clear something from the palate ( like suck back phlegm with your nose, and hawk out your mouth). Low and behold, pure yellow phlegm was coming out. This was phlegm without mucus, and it was just above the palate. It kept coming out, and without mucus (with the persuasion of my snorting and hawking). It was coming out a little at a time over a 15 minute period (quite an interesting feeling because there was no mucus to come with it) The nasal rinses were not dislodging this material.

Amazing, I scraped down the throat and behind the uvula, and the smell is diminished by about 80-90%, only a small trace is left. Nothing else has been able to do that. If over the next few days I am able to completely eliminate the smell, and I get no reactions, then I will be cured.

We shall see!

elgrizzle thanks for joining me in this fight.
Having hali through the nose is way worse than having bb.
Having bb is almost normal. but hali through the nose is not normal at all and I hope you and I can find the way to make it.
I appreciate your research and I will also continue day in and day out unil we're better. I am still having luck with the upside down flip, and will definately try your new ttecnique.
Whats sad is even if I dont stink wich is confirmed by my son. People seem to have allergic reactions.
I had to throw my sis a baby showre yesterday.
I was almost postive it would be a good day. My mouth didnt even taste bad. But as soon as I walked in people started sniffling , sneezing and rubbing. Not much coughing though.
So thank god I was the host becaus I got to stay in he kitchen the whole time acting like I was cleaning and preparing
A couple of days ago I told my sis when It comes to the games youll have to do them So yesterday I reminded her, and she got an attitude and said. I have never smelled your breath. (liar) but she was the main 1 having a sneezig attack. And saying something in here is irritating her nose.
So I did it wich was completely embarassing
people are allergic to my face

Are you sure it's not just the oil causing you to get extra mucus (by irritating the nasal lining) which then drizzles down your throat?

Nose halitosis ....the worst....
It is easy for people that have mouth bad breath they just keep theyre mouth closed and no problems.
For Us nose odor sufferers is the worst thing:can't go in a bus,in a room or something each breath makes a discomfort to the ones near us.
For me personally it's a shame to go somewhere with people that I know (family, the 2,3 friends that I have).I hate making them have a discomfort.
I am a student and the busses/subway are ALWAYS FULL so it's like the worst thing for me.

Normal schedule:
1.First bus(10-15min) people 10 meters around me sniff and rubbing nose
2.Subway(25min) people 20 meters around me sniff, rubbing nose, look in oposite directions and when in a group says something like WTF smells like that these people should take proper care of themselfs
3.Second bus(20min)people at 10-15 meters around me sniff and rubb theyre nose.
4.I got to school and after like 30 min the class it's full of the smell (teachers sniff/rubb nose/colleagues open windows and say something like who shit on him?or what's that smell)

After that 1,2,3 in the oposite order

Remember I did not even opened my mouth for 1 sec!

I developed like a reflex when somebody is coming 1 meter of me I go back and if someone wants to whisper/tell me something I retreat my head a bitt and like hold my breath.

Every decision I make depends on the thought that I have halitosis.Basically I want to stay away from people as much as I can.

Also for people that will say pfff this guy never heard of chewing gum (sugarfree) I will answer You are the one that don't know nothing about the condition(Basically there is nothing in the world that U can cover it with, even for 5 min)

As for ElGrizzle
Seriously you can find ingredients for curing AIDS easyer than to find the ingredients you said.

Wow, I go through the same thing. You're right about not being able to go into a crowded area without someone covering/rubbing their nose when your walk by. I also ride the bus to HS and everyday it's full, so it can be hell everyday. Like you said, you don't even have to open your mouth, and people still react the same way. If I hold my breath, I notice I really don't see any reactions. It's gotten to the point where I will try to hold my breath when I get around large groups. We really have to figure this out, because living like this is hell, especially in HS/college..

I also go through this every day. My bus ride to or from work is almost an hour long and is very painful. I can see people around me wiping their nose and looking around to see what the smell is. The worst part about it is it changes my breathing to spaced shallow breaths which is probably the worst thing you can do for a BB problem and your respitory system.

The upside down nasal flush gave me relief from this for one journey and now doesnt work any more.. thought I had found the answer but was just another brick wall..

This is getting very depressing.
