A friend from the TMAU site e- mailed me about experimental treatments for TMAU. I`m not sure at what stage they are in & who`s conducting the experiments but I think they are on the right track.
They are experimenting on two things:
1. A drug called PTC124 that is supposed to correct the genetic
defect of people with TMAU.
2. M. methylotroplus - a probiotic strain designed to eat trimethylamine.
Maybe we can ask them for scientific help since their doctor have a lot of knowledge about malodorous conditions.
