tnx for the info,
I agree with everything written, but i'm kind of confused with one thing mentioned about tea, it says it reduces acids, for some reason tea increases my bb tremendously, I don't know why, I thought it was because of the acid, n I thought it had something to do with enzymes, because tea always changed the taste of my saliva n reduced it making my mouth very dry.
in my case, Could it be reducing those enzymes needed to break down bad smelling compounds?

When you drink tea, are you drinking it plain, or are you adding things like cream and sugar? And which kind of tea are you drinking?

I agree Wnaysha.. I switched from coffee to green tea at work as it was obvious that coffee was making my BB worse. However now even the green tea is just as bad.. I drink it plain (organic green teabags) and it gives me that sour acidic taste on my tongue.

Black tea was the one they studied specifically for bad breath in the above post. The green tea research focused on increasing the effects of antifungals.
Have you tried black tea?

In the mornings when I wake up, I drink 1.5 liters of water followed by one cup of tea. I also get a funny taste in my mouth after I drink the tea, but if I brush my teeth and tongue about 30 minutes after I drink it, I don't taste it anymore...
But yeah, I would agree that if you have GERD, tea could cause stomach acid to act up because of the caffeine content. Perhaps decaf would be easier on the stomach? Also, they mentioned in the studies that rinsing your mouth with tea and then spitting it out was effective in inhibiting mouth bacteria too. Maybe that would be an option for those who get bad reflux.

KT,
yes i have tried all kinds, and it seems like it makes my whole system acidic : /
in my case, i don't have bb when the acidic taste on my tongue goes away, n everytime i am able to reduce the acid of my body/could also be toxicity, I feel very healthy and my body works normal.

Hey Wnaysha,
I'm sorry to hear that. Just to make sure I understand you correctly, you feel that you have bb when you have an acidic taste on your tongue?
Also, you mention you are able to reduce the acid of your body, and in turn you don't have bb. Are you referring to stomach acid/acid reflux, or are you talking about something along the lines of acidosis?

tnx for mentioning that,
I did a google search n heres what i found,
Mild acidosis can cause such problems as:
Cardiovascular damage, including the constriction of blood vessels and the reduction of oxygen.
Weight gain, obesity and diabetes.
Bladder and kidney conditions, including kidney stones.
Immune deficiency.
Acceleration of free radical damage, possibly contributing to cancerous mutations.
Hormone concerns.
Premature aging.
Osteoporosis; weak, brittle bones, hip fractures and bone spurs.
Joint pain, aching muscles and lactic acid buildup.
Low energy and chronic fatigue.
Slow digestion and elimination.
Yeast/fungal overgrowth.
symptoms of acidosis, n I seem to have most of these symptoms. I went to walmart today to buy litmus paper, one that could detect all ph levels, but the only ones they had could detect ph from 6.8 to 7.5 and I think my ph level is way lower than that.

Hehe, I studied about Acidosis too back when I was trying to find out what the reason for my bad breath was. Some of those symptoms are pretty severe. Could you list the ones in particular that you have, or think you have?

Cardiovascular damage, including the constriction of blood vessels and the reduction of oxygen.

because whenever i do any kind of blood test they tell me the amount of oxygen in my blood is way too low.
Immune deficiency.

i'm not sure of this one, but I always get sick, n i'm a health freak LOL
Hormone concerns.

a few year back when I first started my menstruation, it was totally not regular because I had it every 2 or three months sometimes and it was very heavy, and at the same time I started loosing hair, and my doctor said it had something to do with my hormones, but thank god my hair's really strong It looks better than others.
Osteoporosis; weak, brittle bones, hip fractures and bone spurs.

I'm not short, but my bones are really weak, n they always hurt a lot.
Joint pain, aching muscles and lactic acid buildup.

I do have joint pain, and aching muscles, and when I excercise lactic acid buildup is faster than others.
Low energy and chronic fatigue.

always
Slow digestion and elimination.

I do have slow digestion and IBS
Yeast/fungal overgrowth.

not 100% sure about this one, but my throat sometimes looks exactly like ur picture, with white patches, but when I showed it to my doctors they didn't know what it was
So, ye, I have a lot of the symptoms.

Did a google search on Pau d'Arco and found this info.
Pau d'Arco Candida Treatment
Often recommended by herbalists to treat fungal, bacterial and even
parasitic infections, Pau d'Arco treatments cover a wide range of ailments.
Chief within these categories is the Candida Albicans fungus, an overgrowth of which causes candidiasis, also known as a yeast infection.
Initial research showed that Lapachol, a compound in Pau d'Arco, worked
effectively as both an anti-fungal and anti-viral. Continued research has
shown this to be accurate, however, also has also concluded that unrefined
Pau d'Arco is even more effective than its Lapachol compound alone. From
this we can reach the conclusion that other compounds within Pau d'Arco, or a combination of its compounds, makes the most effective treatment against fungi and viruses.
Beta lapachone and quercetin have also been shown as effective
anti-fungals, and it is theorized that beta-lapachone may inhibit certain
enzymes required by viruses to grow and propagate. "If that's the case,
having more beta-lapachone in our bodies would be an effective way to block viruses" was theorized by Debra Gibson, N.D. (naturopathic doctor), from Woodbury, Connecticut.
Candida overgrowth can be caused by many factors, including a weak immune system, diabetes, a poor diet or diet rich in sugars and carbohydrates, antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and steroids, as well as others. Candida problems can occur in or on the mouth (thrush), respiratory system, skin, or vagina, and may cause symptoms throughout the entire body
No firm evidence from research has been provided as to what within Pau
d'Arco is lethal to fungus, but the fact remains that it is efficient and
effective at killing off Candida Albicans fungus. Many doctors recommend
making use of Pau d'Arco when on an antibiotic regimen, as a precaution
against candida infections. Pau d'Arco is also frequently recommended for
women who are the victims of recurring yeast infections.

Yikes! Sounds scary... Anyway, your doctor can test you for acidosis quite easily though. I would recommend getting your pH levels tested so you can either confirm or rule out your suspicion.
Oh yeah, and thanks a bunch Thf for the info about the Pau d'Arco tea. That was really great information.
