candida - leaky gut?
i dont know if i have leaky gut, but for an entire 2 years i had severe problems with bloating, cramps and diareha, of which the cause was never discovered. I thought i was a celiac so i went on a gluten free diet which aleviated my (stomach) symptoms. After 2 months, i stopped the gluten free diet to test myself, and the problem has never come back.
The interesting thing is that being on a gluten free diet practically means you never eat anything with yeast. So while i've never had a problem with my digestive system again, i could still have a candida infection in my esophagus and mouth. Whenever i drink beer my breath is far worse (way more than with vodka or wine) and i also get very very tired and get headaches.
