hi all, i scrape my tongue after i brush i teeth and i always have really thick mucus-like spit in the back of my throat. i feel a lot better when i keep using the tongue scraper to scrape it off of my tongue and the back of my tongue. but as soon as i stop, it builds back up in the back of my throat and i am constantly clearing my throat and swallowing the mucus-like spit. it is really thick! i do have post nasal drip and whenever i yawn or lick my tongue all the way out i can taste/smell a poop-like odor. what should i do about this? are any of you guys experiencing this?
I experience the same - I have thick mucous on the tongue, throat and esophagus. In my case it serves to protect the tissues from reflux and is a perfect environment for bacteria, which in turn produce VSC. Post nasal drip may as well be the result of reflux.
