The answer is yes, because in most cases BB does not come from the teeth.
In most cases of halitosis it comes from an overgrowth of anaerobic bacteria in the mouth, mostly on the back of the tounge. It could also come from post nasal drip, especially if there is a sinus infection. Other causes are lung problem, stomach problem or intestinal problem, although those are usually rare.
