FECES smell through NASAL breathing

Im new to the forums, but have been suffering from " poo breath" for 7 years. im 22, male and breathe a stench of feces through my nose, which obviously is noticeable when im speaking. Even when im not talking, just breathing normally through my nose around people is embarrassing to hear the comments. ive even lost touch with my all friends because of this unbearable stench. i resort to online gaming for social interaction with people and for my entertainment. being a good looking athlete, my confidence has been completely diminished when im close to people.
After dozens of doctor visits and being reffered to sinus specialists, and having my tonsils removed, i have yet to be diagnosed or cured.
The more posts ive been reading on this site, the more i notice that noone really refers their BB to feces nor that its coming from thier nose.
Before i came to this forum i thought i knew what bad breath smells like, and in my head, its not as bad as POO smells.
so my question to all of you BB sufferers is, does yall's BB smell like feces or is BAD BREATH and FECES BREATH TWO DIFFERENT DESIESES ? thanks feel free to send me private messages.

Hi FM,
There are people on this forum that have nasal (and fecal) odours. Things that can cause nasal odours besides tonsils and adenoids are:
-Wisdom teeth
-Candidal infections
If you still have your wisdom teeth the
Wisdom Teeth Extraction Cured My Nasal Bad Breath thread is worth a read:

For information on candidal infections the
My Bad Breath Was From My Esophagus (Throat), Not My Mouth..thread is also worth reading:

For overall information
The Bad Breath Checklist is very comprehensive.

so my question to all of you BB sufferers is, does y’alls BB smell like feces or is BAD BREATH and FECES BREATH TWO DIFFERENT DISEASES?
BB can come from one source or more than source depending on the person. A person could have an impacted wisdom tooth and candidiasis at the same time or any other condition that could cause BB concurrently. It can be pretty confusing trying to figure this all out but the links I posted for you should at least hopefully get you looking in the right direction. Hope this helps you. Cheers C

thanks, the checklist has acually slightly givin me very little hope that i wasnt sure i would ever have.
i think i can rule out the wisdom teeth because like i said, this smell started when i was 15, LONG BEFORE my wisdom teeth started growing. As far as it coming from my esophagus, after one full year of taking the prescription rabeprazole, my stomach acids are pretty much neutralized 24 7, so doubt that.
im been thinking lately it seems that my fecel breath started pretty much around the exact time i started going through puberty.
Is anyone familiar if hormones could possibly play a role with my fecel breath????? i will be sure to ask my doc about this

Hi FM,
I’m glad you found a ray of hope in The Bad Breath Checklist. I think hormones play a role in my situation too. It all started for me when I got pregnant 11 yrs ago. That’s when all the comments/complaints started. I had my hormones checked out and all the tests came back normal but my doctor did point out that there is a wide range of normal. Good luck with your doctor visit. Cheers, C.

Fartmouth, remember that even just forgetting to brush your teeth for 1 day can give BB free people bad breath. I know because it happens to my nephews every time. And when you are 15 its when you start becoming independant and looking after yourself - and also neglecting yourself. And it only takes one remark about your breath to trigger the complex off.
Also, wisdom teeth can be forming at 15 years. My wisdom teeth were all poking out when I was at school still.

Im pretty new here but have been reading alot of interesting threads for a while and one thing I found that most of us long time BB sufferers have in common is the time the dreadful bb started .. in our early teens.
My started when I was about 14, it happened over night and I'm now 46 still no cure in sight.
So I do think that our hormones play a role in it somehow.

i hope your not implying that ive been paranoid all these years because of some comments ppl made when i was 15. that would be an insult.
if not, i simply misunderstood what your point was.

Fartmouth, you could have understood if you wanted to. My point was, that the slightest thing can cause BB. Even not brushing teeth for 1 day. So wisdom teeth, or any teeth for that matter, whilst they are erupting or even still completely submerged under the gum, can cause BB. If those teeth then go on to cause gum pockets or sinus invasions/infection that's how the BB can then become chronic - as happened in my case.
So forgive me if my post insulted. I'll try to be more careful in future that what I say doesnt imply things that might insult. Try making as many posts as I have, and even face resentment for being around trying to help people after you get cured, I'd like to see that.

no worries, not like i haven't taking a verbal hit before.
i really would like to know more about these gum pockets, what and were exactly are they located ? and what determines the cause of these pockets to form?
