Please Help... I think I gave my husband BB

Post by bbforever »

I need help to figure out where my husband's bb is comming from and what's causing it.

To make a long story short, I myself, been suffering from bb for over 30 years now. (I posted my story under long time sufferer earlier)
Any way, I was lucky enough to find someone who loves me unconditionally (bad breath and all) and we've been married for over 25 years now.

He's aware of my condition since day one, but we don't really talk about it because he knows that Im too embarressed and uncomfortable with the subject.

In the past three years or so, I noticed that my husband starting to get occasional bb and sometimes it would get REALLY bad and I mean feces breath, It comes and goes, not constant bb like my, but lately, it's gotten worse and more often.

My questions are....
after all these years, could I have given it to him from longterm contact (we dont kiss much only when I was comfortable enough) is it possible?

He's been suffering from GERD for a while now and he's been on pepcid and prilosac. His bb mainly coming from his mouth and sometimes lightly thru his nose, how can I tell where the source of his bb is coming from?

His bb has become more and more often and I afraid that it might turn in to a chronic conition like mine

He's not aware of the problem, I just don't have enough nerve to tell him cause I cant even talk about mine

Please...help

Bad breath is not contagious. It is caused by common body bacteria breaking down proteins in the mouth for metabolism. You cannot cough on someone and give them bad breath. However, it is certainly possible to transfer bacteria to another person by kissing them. But these bacteria would need to be transferred to a receptive bad breath environment. Bacteria passed to a non receptive mouth (one that did not have an environment ( ecology)for anaerobic bacteria) would not enable the bacteria to colonise. In other words if your husband do not have a bad breath problem, he is unlikely to catch one by kissing you.

sadman, id like to contradict 100%. some people kissed a stranger in bar and tasted sh8t on them. they woke up the next day with pinkish bumps on their tongue and serious bb that didnt go away with brushin n all.

im sure someone readin this knows what im talkin about and is havin a painfull epiphany rght now knoing a chlorohexadine mouthwash the day after the kiss could have saved them all the trouble
