Bad Breath Halitosis Forum

I am a successful University graduate working at a marketing company as a corporate analyst. I am in my mid 20's, decent looking, in shape, well dressed groomed etc. I have a lot of things going for me.

I struggle with chronic bad breath, to the point where people can smell me breathing. Going to work in the elevator, I need to hold my breath. People leave mints on my desk. I am fearful to talk with anyone (male or female) due to my chronic bad breath. People hold their nose when I talk to them, look away, some even look disgusted.

Even at work, 100 metres away from me, I can see people can smell my chronic bb.

Even through glass, and when doors are closed my bb gets through.

This is when I realized my fear and the bad breath are one in the same. My fear of the bad breath has exaggerated my problem.

The fear and the bb are the same.

Wait, 100 meters is the length of an American football field. The rest of your examples are legit, but the 300 feet away smelling your breath has to be paranoia which is understandable as we struggle with this 24/7

I know first hand exactly what your saying Kenny. Its awful. People can be so cruel. Where I worked people went out of there way to torment me. I already felt bad enough and knew the problem was offensive and tried explaining that a number of times -- didn't help.

Its not a 100 meters Thanatos but its pretty far that the smell extends. For people like the OP and myself, the smell is like vapors almost where if your in a room or office or somewhere it envelopes the entire space and it seems like it does this within minutes.

OP: Have you tried probiotics, or vitamin C. These have helped some people (with sinus or respiratory issues). Have you been tested for H.Pylori?

Start with looking through some of the sticky messages at the top of this page for supplements or regimens that might help.

I always find it easier to search by some of the symptoms I have. For instance I have acid reflux and sinus issues so I searched for that. I've also had jaundice on my tongue...so I've searched by that.

Danger..... we are sorry that you have not had positive encounters using tongue scrapers but we can assure you that they do work and in the first place we said that they work in most cases and not in every case they will only be affective if accompanied with the other appropriate oral hygiene measures

they make no difference to anyone's breath. it has been proven that it makes a difference for 15 minutes, tops

"deebo" we never said that everyone had Chronic Bad Breath or that you don't have "impeccable oral hygiene" we are just suggesting that being as people on this forum are trying to seek advice on Bad Breath our information may be valuable in some cases even if not valuable to you.

To everyone else, we are not trying to "Spam" this forum we are actually trying to make people aware of Tongue Scrapers regardless of the fact everyone thinks that they do not work. which of course are your opinions.

Just because Tongue Scrapers didn't work in your experiences does not mean that they will not work for someone else who is looking for a cure.

Tongue Scrapers are recommended by Dentists and Oral Hygiene Specialists which is why they sell them at Dental Practises and Pharmacies, and I think they will know a little more about Oral Hygiene than you.

my dentist sells nearly everything dental related apart from tongue scrapers. my hygienest was shocked when i told her that i scraped my tongue twice a day, like she was surprised that anybody would do that
