Wow I wish I could give you a big hug! I was just sitting here going through some of my old papers and junk.....and with every piece of a paper I would say "wow this was a time when I was free".
Bad breath has changed my life totally I mean in every aspect. I have ALWAYS been a loving and VERY caring person. Right at the point in my life when I finally began to start my career BB HIT ME! I lived all of my life until 2 years ago. I go out sometimes and just look at people and think that they dont know how blessed they are. I know that theres is someone sitting in a hospice somewhere saying the same thing about people like us. Thats why i keep on pushing and continue to become bb free.

i have always been a bit of an insecure person, even before i knew i had BB, but part of me always had hope before this. i am now just really tired and i do not have the strength to carry on. i honestly wish i could go to sleep and never wake up. this is the single worst thing anyone can have
i am pretty sure i never had a BB problem at school because i would have known. kids at school can be pretty nasty. i am pretty sure now that the antibiotics i took for my acne about 7 or 8 years ago is responsible, but i only become aware of it just over 2 years ago. i have probably had BB for 7 or 8 years without knowing
i constantly have some sort of bad taste in my mouth. i always have some odour in the middle part of my tongue which never goes away. i have no hope now and i dont want be alive

All of us have been destroyed with this bb but we cant let bb ruin our lives forever. Sometimes I still feel down but I have to fight it. One thing I noticed changed me a lot is when I started reading the bible. It somehow became my shield. If you dont know how to start, try reading first the new testament and later on I know you will feel what I meant. Its like magical that whenever I see reactions, it didnt bother me anymore nor did it hurt my feelings and right away be depressed. I know theres a reason behind this bb of ours. I know its hard but have faith in God through Lord Jesus, and He will give us the love and comfort that our soul have been longing for. Now whenever i see reactions, I just tell myself "its just a smell, its not my fault, if you cant stand it then turn away". And lastly stop holding your breath, it will only exacerbate bb because you are refraining oxygen be transported into your sysytem. Remember the anaerobic bacteria can be killed by oxygen.

@ waitingtoxhale & danger:
my bb also started after taking meds for acne. Accutane to be exact. I also took different antibiotics for acne and wisdom teeth removal.
Has anyone tried the coconut oil, Vitamin C and baking soda techniques?

i cant be 100% sure that my BB started after talking antibiotics for my acne, but after reading a few posts on here about it it is a possibility
would BB start straight after you stop taking the antibiotics for acne or would it be possible for it to start a bit after you take them?
i cant even remember what antibiotics i took for my acne. it must have been about 7 to 8 years ago now that i took them. they more or less cleared my acne up but is possibly responsible for my BB? i would rather still have the ****ing acne any day of the week

that's how I feel too. I look at people interacting with each other and they are talking right in each other's face and neither one is showing signs the other smells and I think they are so lucky! They take it for granted. I would trade places with anyone with fresh breath. But, on the other hand I wouldn't put this curse on anyone. It is too cruel a thing to wish on a person.

It is difficult to comprehend the impact bad breath has had on my life and put it into words. Life feels like a continuous, repetition of the same horror story.
Recently, I started my fifth job in just a year. I quit jobs because I am too embaressed and ashamed to confront this. I don't know how to break the ice and open up on this. I know how I would feel if someone told me so I don't tell others. I just avoid people. I kid myself I'm okay from time to time - have moments of okayness - until that dreaded close encounter comes and I am warped back to square one in an instant. I do the on the job training because it doesn't require me getting close to people, but then the work starts, and I have to ask questions, and people come close and then I shut down.
I never used to a loner. Now, it's inevitable I will end up alone.

Dylan86,
You're absolutely right. No one who doesn't have this problem can comprehend the emotional anguish and psychological pressure this nightmare condition produces.
A while back I was working in a company where aside from some separate offices there was a main room with about ten desks. I worked in the back. At a front desk, there was a young fellow whose ambition was to be a state trooper (and sometimes he already acted like one). One day he suddenly yelled out across the whole room, "Al, you got a bad mouth!". I didn't say anything. A few seconds later, he yelled again, "Al, you got a bad mouth". No one said anything. Confronting him wouldn't have been a good idea, because his shoulders were twice as big as mine. I thought about walking over to him and just telling him, I know, I'm aware of it - just be happy that you don't have this problem. But he was quiet after that, so I just let the awkward scene pass.
This is what we're up against. We all know what you're talking about. I can only tell you that we need more strength than the average person to get through life, and that you're not alone.

That sounds horrible. Luckily, I have not had an encounter with an idiot like that. I think I would break. Literally collapse on the ground and weep.
I admire your strength for keeping it together and riding it out.
