Can bad breath ever go away by itself?

I've heard people say things like 'after high school my bad breath got even worse'. Does this mean that things could also get better too, just by itself?

I don't see how this condition can get better by itself. You have to find out the cause, and eliminate it - if possible.

When people say, things got worse after high school, it could just be that that's when they first became aware of it.
