Has anyone tried Peelu (Salvadora Persica) based products? It's been used for centuries to chew on to keep teeth clean.

Here are some products out there that use it:

In the US:

In the UK:

Apparently it's very good against Helicobacter pylori:

Be clear. This has nothing to do with eradicating helicobacter from the stomach. Currently, the only thing that has a chance of doing that is an antibiotic combination and acid lowering medication.

The article described how mouthwash made from this herb can prevent reinfection of the stomach with HP by completely inhibiting its growth in the mouth. Certainly a good thing. Perhaps chewing on Peelu sticks (as the natives do) might be as effective as antibiotics in curing HP in the stomach too.
