Hydrogen Peroxide Mouthwash - feedback required

Over the years Hydrogen Peroxide mouthwash as been discussed on many ocassions.

Can anyone please provide me with their experiences of the pro's and con's of using it.

HP mouthwash is a rip off. They charge $7 for it and you can buy a plain old bottle of HP for $0.80 and it's the same thing!

I gargle with it and then let it sit on my tongue for a few minutes until the burning starts and I spit it out and scrape it off. Helps a little but no cure.
