Dioxirinse
Dioxirinse
I have recieved mine through the post and tried it last night, my mouth feels fresh after using it but after about an hour my mouth seems dry.
It says to floss, brush and rinse with mouth wash 3 times a day for the first week then reduce it to 2 times the second, so this is what im going to do.
is anyone else trying the new dioxirinse??
Please let me know how you are getting on and ill do the same and keep you updated.

No sucsess
I have been using the dioxirinse now for a week and ive read the instructions and followed them to the latter with no sucsess. So i have e-mailed them (below) and i will let you know the response.
Thankyou i recieved the dioxirinse on Friday 15th June.
I have read through the instructions and have been following them through very carefully however, i have had no improvement in my breath.
I drink alot of water anyway but my mouth has been very dry whilst using the rinse and toothpaste.
Is there anything i can do to improve my breath whilst taking the dioxirinse, is there something i am doing wrong? Or is it that it only works on acute halitosis???
Please could you take some time to reply to me i would appreiciate some help with reducing or curing my bb.

ok an update
Dear Ms. Day,
How are you going about assessing your breath? Please list all of the methods you are using to determine what your breath is like. This is very important.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dailley
My mum says that my breath hasnt changed its feacel smell.
Occasionally i can smell the fecal odour but i cant determine how i smelt, i try to do the same thing i did to smell it but it doesnt work.
Does this help????
Dear Ms. Day,
You need to understand that individuals cannot accurately smell their own breath odors by themselves no matter what they think. Only 5% of the time will you actually smell your breath odor for what it really is. This means you will be wrong 95% of the time when you try to smell your own breath. Also I always tell patients to get a description of their breath odor from at least 3 people. Never rely on a single person for your feedback because you do not know how accurate their sense of smell is, and they do not even know how accurate their sense of smell is either. Over the years I have seen many cases where people have relied on a sole person and that person may smell things nobody else smells, or they can't smell things very well, or they smell things "backwards" if you know what I mean. Please ask 3 other people do tell you what your breath odor smells like and make sure you inquire about this individually and with people who know nothing about your problem, and have not had discussions about it with you either. Lastly please describe exactly what you are doing with your regimen. It is very important that you are scraping towards the very back of your tongue at least 3 times a day. If you gag easily and refrain from going all the way back you can leave part of the tongue untouched where bacteria will accumulate. Do you experience any post nasal drainage from your sinuses?
For the optimum home treatment results I recommend a combination of the breath treatment kit, the antibacterial tongue spray, and the Hydro Floss machine along the special tips for the Hydro Floss machine. Do not confuse this device with a Waterpik. Its function and purpose are quite different. Through the effects of the magnetic fields on the water molecules the Hydro Floss machine will prevent the adherence of bacteria, tarter, and particulate matter to the structures in your mouth. The result is an almost 50% reduction in oral bacteria, and a 65% reduction in tarter. This is dramatic, and because of the bacterial nature of halitosis this device will have a significant impact on your results. Presently you are only using half of what I have recommended and I would strongly recommend you start using the Hydro Floss and the special tips with the treatment kit. If you experience lot of mucous draining down the back of your throat I would advise you to use the Hydro-Pulse sinus irrigator and the Breath-Ease XL saline powder. This will reduce the drainage. Posta nasal drainage is a common contributor to halitosis. It is important to understand that halitosis always has multiple causes and therefore we must use a combination of things to treat it.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dailley

There is no way you are aware of what i am going through on a daily basis, you have never suffered from this so how do you know how it feels?
Yes you may have been treating this for 11 years and seen it a thousand times however i have been suffering for 11 years and i have heard these comments a thousand times before with the thousands of other breath products i have tried.
I have had these comments for 11 years so when people say my breath smells they wouldnt be saying it for no reason, but i should turn around and say well how bad is it? what does it smell like??? Please humiliate me some more to make me feel a whole lot better.
You may feel it inaccurate just to ask one person and to listen to other people talking about how bad my breath smells but unfortunatly i dont.
And i dont think i have halitosis i know i do!! If i didnt get this reaction and comments from others i wouldnt be wasting my money on products that claim to eliminate bad breath.
Once again i would like to mention the website www.badbreathhalitosis.com please read through the posts i feel you might get an idea of what im talking about.

Any of the products that have those complicated instructions...
"Take every third day after the 2nd week of the month once after every other meal, until the 4th week double the dosage, and take every third day mulitply that by the square root of 24, divide by 5. DO NOT SWALLOW."
...are bullsh*t. So if you make one mistake, they can always say "that's why it didn't work.

For me using just the dioxirinse by itself or with the dioxibrite toothpaste, my breath takes on a whole other bad smell. A sort of mediciny bad breath that's SEEMS worse.
But when I use it with a sodium chlorite toothpaste and mouthwash it works better than using either alone.
I start off by brusing my tongue to get all the plaque off then use the dioxirinse mouthwash. I swish and gargle for around 5 miuntes.
I then coat my tongue with therabreath plus, brush my teth with the toothpaste, then reapply more on my tongue.
I then wash my face & shave just to give the toothpaste time to work on my tongue.
Then I'll use therabreath plus mouthwash to dip floss in as I floss my teeth. Then I'll use the remainder mouthwash to gargle and swish for at least 5 minutes (usually when taking a shower I'll be gargling and swishing).
That's it.
It seems to help a lot. The only reason I'm using Therabreath is that it contains the most "anti-halitosis" compounds in one product.
This is just my current regimen. I'll also suck on Zox mints, Therabreath power strips and use BreathRemedy breath spray for a few hours. Once I eat anything, it's over. Nothing will help until I can repeat the process over again.
Very frustrating

my story and experience w/ dioxi-stuff
so i've probably had BB all my life and not really known until i hit puberty and the sewage smell kicked in.
i can only say that i've really tried to "cure" my bb now that i'm in my 20s and i want to move on with my life instead of just mumbling and avoiding breathing when i talk (something i've mastered over the years). as of recently i tried the smartmouth routine and have had good and bad reviews. so i just gave up and tried dioxirinse from dr. dailley.
for a few weeks, i've been using the rinse after i brush with smartmouth toothpaste and do the TUNG thing. i thought i had found a cure, but i wanted to be sure... 1) i'd had an episode where i was dehydrated and my mouth reverted back to tasting unbrushed and 2) there were a few times i woke up in the morning to a skunk smell in my apartment. when i saw the window was closed, i wept.. profusely.
so i called a local bb guy/dentist to have my teeth cleaned and my breath checked. the whole time i thought my breath was horrible. i felt the smell of it... almost like fumes and my tongue was white. the hygenist knew i was there for a breath check and gave me oxyfresh after my cleaning. i just told her no thanks (i'm already using freaking dioxirinse bleach) and cried in the waiting room till my breath check. i thought the dioxirinse was working! eventually i go for the bb check and it was a $96 sham. the dentist had yellow teeth and stale breath! wtf?! and he didn't do anything except poke at my teeth and tell me to see a doctor. he had sinus problems and said he couldn't gauge my breath. again wtf?!
anyway, here's were i decide to get courage instead of crying:
i immediately say bring in the hygenist because i need to hear the truth about my breath (i currently don't have anyone to test me). she said i didn't have a problem and she knows when someone does. i was shocked. i ran to the car to look at my tongue and it was white and somewhat dry. i was so happy... until i woke up in the morning and the skunk smell was lingering.... and yes the window was closed, lol! again wtf?!
today, my mouth is dry (probably from stress and hormones) and i feel like my mouth smells like skunk. i don't know what to do now. i'm waiting to go home to see my family and get their opinion. if it fails then i'm calling dr. dailley and giving him a piece of my mind.... and i don't want to hear it's cuz i didn't invest 300 bucks in a hydrofloss and sinus irrigator. i floss and rinse my sinuses with over the counter stuff and my teeth are clean and sinuses relatively clear... or so i think... sigh. thanks to anyone who's listening to my story. i'm glad i found this site to talk about it.
