hello there,

My name is David and I'm a UK based TV producer making a compassionate and educational documentary on TMAU and related body odour conditions for the BBC. Our aim is to improve public awareness, explore the stigmas and misunderstandings around them and through several case studies examine what it's like to live with these conditions. We are endorsed by leading medical specialists / support groups both in the UK and the US and our experts will be offering advice, assistance and therapy for those who participate. It's not about sufference and victims but about strong willed individuals coping with extraordinary and misunderstood conditions in a progressive and educational way. We are looking for people who are affected by body odour issues in the UK to contact us in complete confidence to find out more.If this is you and you are in the UK, please get in touch asap. Maybe our experts can help? If you have a powerful story to tell and are outside the UK, we would still love to hear from you.
thank you, david.

@David: Quite happy to give you some feedback (on halitosis....not tmau) but will say from the outset that I am not prepared to feature in the programme! I have done the same recently for a prod. company that produces for C4.

pm me if thats of interest.

Havn't heard anything on it. If it makes Channel 4, no doubt one of us will hear of it. I'd imagine the biggest problem these guys will have is getting some folks who are prepared to go on screen. I don't think it will be 'interesting' enough to them without this...

Dear David,

The Beeb should fly in this girl:

She's a natural in front of the cam, and also has superb looking teeth -that's a good thing if we want the public to realise that this condition has nowt to do with oral hygiene.
