thanks to reading this forum, i ordered the mouthwash dioxirinse and want to let people know it has worked for me so far. it doesn't cure anything, but it does maintain fresh breath for several hours most of the time. i find it to be only slightly less effective than chlorhexidine, but i assume it is safer (and doesn't stain the teeth).

i have tried other chlorine dioxide rinses (e.g. closys, and this other one my dentist gave me) and they don't work very well. this one works very well (though it smells like chlorine from a pool!). i assume that is because it is active chlorine dioxide once mixed...
i have also tried a zinc dioxide rinse (smartmouth) and that i find to be very hit and miss, so i stopped using it. so far, dioxirinse is the best rinse i have used so far.
has anyone tried any of the other products (toothpaste, tongue spray, tongue gel)? how are they?
