As near to this date as possible, could you please e-mail your local MP and the health politicians below with a very brief description of how your condition affects you and a statement that you would like politicians to urge the medical profession to take us odoru more seriously. This will be enough but a series of short e-mails sent concurrently by various sufferers will have a powerful effect. Only WE can make change happen.
List of British Health MPs to be contacted:

Someone asked on this site if s*****e was a way out. It is not but making people aware of malodorous conditions is. Whenever you feel suicidal, DO SOMETHING to promote change and a more open, sympathetic approach from the medical profession.

I don't live in the UK but that is a very important Idea you propose . Dr's really have no idea how disabling BB is for everyone involved . Maybe all you need is a petition with electronic signatures. All the Best .

Please sign (and get friends and family to sign) the online petition to promote research into odour-producing conditions and to change the attitude of medical professionals towards these conditions:
http://www.meboresearch.org/petition.html
Even if you don't live in the uk, you can still support the e-mailing health MPs inititative by sending a brief account of your experience living with an odour condition. The petition is an international effort led by the registered charity MEBO Research. If more people sign it, it can be used for campaigns such as this 'targeting MPs' one on 4th July.
I find it annoying if people tell me to 'think positive' when I'm feeling as bad as I smell. However, DOING POSITIVE makes me FEEL positive and I consider these initiatives positive things. Try joining in and it may help us all.
