i like to share with you guys my feeling about new members in this forum who has been here less than 3 months and they proclaim their cure of haltitosis , i think trheu are bunch of hackers and liers and sick people , because they are playing with our emotions. how can you explain this, they have halitosis for many years and all of a sudden they become a members and voila they are cured. either through medication or removing their tonsils or laser cryptolisys or,,,,,,. im sick of it.

Actually I dont think that way about most new members but I have other concerns. Many new members give me the impression that they either have mild bad breath (nothing to do with us) and are exaggerating about their problem a little bit and when they find the cure (the easy way) they give hope to us, chronic sufferers with the REAL problem only to be disappointed later. They too think that they have horrible breath just like us yet its nothing compared to what we have and only a visit to a doc would probably cure it.

i think you make a good point but just because their breath might not be as bad as yours shouldn't mean they don't deserve to be helped. I know for me personally my breath is not as bad as some of the people on this board but i still do suffer from bad breath emotionally and physically and this site certainly has helped me thus far. I've also been to doctors and am yet to be cured so take that for what it's worth. I think that is selfish for you to feel you are being slighted by these people.

and if they are "playing with your emotions" they certainly are not doing so intentionally.

I built this site for everybody even the acutre halitosis people. We can not just scatre them away. But try to mention how strong the breath is.

And if there is a scammler or a new smile guy son or something please let me know and I will take care of the situation.

I really doubt they are spammers, since some of them really know a lot about a chronic bb sufferer's situation. They are not the kind of ppl that tell u to brush your teeth more often like most people who don't anythin about it do. I also don't really see what the point would be, I mean if they weren't sufferin from bb, why would they even bother comin to this board...

You misunderstood my post (something I knew would happen :D )
What I meant was that some of those people dont even know if they have bb. They're either paranoid about it or they just have that normal bb that you get if you have problem with some tooth or something... Or like you know you have bb your whole life, you never been to the docs or did absolutely anything about it and then one day you decide to get your tonsils out and your bad breath goes away and then you go and post on a forum that you was tortured your whole life and a tonsil surgery helped. Isnt that a little misleading? (no offence to those users who got cured, i'm just saying an example)
Its like going to a cancer forum and making a thread "omg guys I got drunk yesterday and now i have a headache, im pretty sure i have brain cancer help me"...

My mission is to find a cure, for chronic and acute halitosis. And if the acute halitosis people find a cure here fast, i achieved my goal, I helped some poor souls.

We have to unite everybody

i agree with jimi. i think that's why it's always good to describe one's condition, so we know how severe each person's problem is. that way, the right "match" (cure) could be found for different sufferers. after all, even if two people have equally stubborn cases of halitosis, they could be of completely different odor/cause.

compile a database of characteristics

I'm a total newbie on this forum and I'm wondering if some of the comments are directed at me. Being a newbie does not invalidate the life-long struggle I have had. Due to self-denial or just getting into routines of amouring oneself for the daily rejections it's really hard to publicly acknowledge one's condition. For me it's been a real struggle - I don't know what I am afraid of? Perhaps further rejection? Fear that I will be identified in these postings? I don't know. The additional difficulty is knowing how to benchmark your breath. The online polls go some way into doing this. But who's to say whose is worse? We ought to be compiling a database of characteristics and histories. This would give us added credibility and give researchers a starting point. I am willing to help out here.

My BB's not the worst there is, but it's still plenty enough to give me social, psychological and emotional problems. I've done everything I can and if I take my vitamins and probiotics and try to keep even semi-healthy lifestyle, my breath's much better. Social situations are still hard, but at least I can take it for 3-5 hours with the aid of chewing gum. After that "supposed" time limit, I can throw their heads back from 50 centimeters. In my case, it may not fill the room, I don't really know where should I put it in scale, but it's chronic nevertheless and can't get rid of it.

Point being, even if some of us had only mild chronic bb, or only acute, we should offer him/her treatment possibilities and new information. No matter how many times someone would ask the same question, we should at least try to help him/her. If we become too closed to the world, things just won't work out.

I have to agree with guzler even though i got here just couple of hours ago!
But im no newbie i was visiting some other boards, mainly curezone's. I read so much spam that i can differentiate and see through a post of spammer much sooner than most of others can if at all they can.

I think those people with so called 'less' bad breath problem then us with chronic bb is not the issue at all. Most of the time thats either a mask for a spammer to spam or an uneducated view of person in question so to speak or just bad choice of words cause lot of people mother tongue isn't english. Lets get something straight - acute halitosis for me doesn't exist as a real problem the word 'acute' would assume that there is period of time (probably most of persons life) WITHOUT ANY kind of bad breath - just like a normal person! I have yet to see such a person going through all what we are going through and trying all the products that we are trying to if that was the case!

@Busted quote: I really doubt they are spammers, since some of them really know a lot about a chronic bb sufferer's situation.

So does Katz mate, so does Katz. That doesn't stop him from saying what people want to hear so he could take theirs (ours) money. If you look at history of Katz products you will see how their spinning of story developed. At first it was VSC. He claimed he made product that breaks VSC. Thousands of people cured! If that worked why he introduced zinc into it? Because people on forums started talking about zinc. We are actually doing dirty work for people like Katz by doing research, reading literature, trying all sort of stuff, asking questions, answering some of them, providing experience. All they have to do is come read the forums and create buzz words for every spinning cycle. Waterpicks anyone? #-o

Have you any idea how persistant and sneaky direct marketing people are? We are dealing with similar type of people believe you me! They read all these forums! Then they write exactly what you want to hear! I wanted to skip this site completely when first thing i saw on the forum was section about laser treatment by DR. YEHUDA FINKELSTEIN. I said to my self oh no... sponsored site! But then i gave this section a chance and saw some pretty resourceful posts from some intelligent people so ill give it a go. :)
