hi guys. bronxjazzy has brought up atrophic rhinitis as a possible cause of bb for people with sinus problems.
has anyone been diagnosed with it? i kept reading that the odor is "tepid" from this disease. do you know what kind of odor AR produces?
thanks.

atrophic rhinitis
wfr,
All types of rhinitis cause bad breath and I've been saying that for a while but people didn't really take it seriously (see my allergy thread). Allergies (which is a very common cause for rhinitis) have so persistent symptoms that we have, we need to look more into it. Sinus problems, nasal secretions, nasal congestions and post nasal drip are directly connected with allergies and allergic rhinitis and while most of us have these problems, people don't take allergies seriously and look for a cause in acid reflux, h.pylori and other things that are 1000 times less relevant than allergies. Seriously, go tell an ENT that you have abnormal sinus problems, nasal congestion and pnd that you can't find the source of. I swear first thing he'll tell you is probably allergies.
