Chlorophyll-effective supplement-worried abt Copper toxicity

Hello all. Lately, and by lately I mean for the last 4 months, I have been taking a Chlorophyll supplement called BioMint. It comes in the form of a tiny oblong tablet, with the color and texture of dark green chalk, if you would. Anyways, the reason I feel the need to specify this is because I have tried a lot of different chlorophyll supplements in the past, including Nature's Way Chlorophyll Liquid, Nature's Way Chlorofresh Soft Gels, as well as GNC's Triple Chlorophyll soft gels. The liquid had no effect, aside from coating my tongue in dark green. The soft gels yielded nothing. The BioMint, however, does provide a slight sense of relief. Granted, it does not get rid of, nor does it mask it completely, but it masks it enough for me to notice the reduction and give me a little more mental security and confidence, directly as a consequence from both the reduction of bad taste, and knowing that I took it and knowing that it's reduced my breath issues a little. As a result of this confidence, I engage with people with less restraint, by convincing myself that my breath, while not perfect, may still be at bay, and I talk to people around a foot or so away from them without too much worry. However, I have a few concerns.
Firstly, the supplement has either decreased in its effectiveness (still works, but doesn't provide the level of relief that I recall from my first time trying it) or there are some bad batches out there. I order it off amazon, which has several vendors/sellers. Depending on who you order from, you may get them in a blister pack, or a small plastic Supplement container/bottle. I have noticed that some batches are more effective than others. Some of them are complete bunk, even though they are sealed, unopened, and well within the expiration deadline. These ones I also notice are not as dark green in their color, rather the color looks a little bit faded. I have received this type in both some blister packs and some bottles. I think I need to make sure I take note after I purchase from a seller of a good batch, so I'll know what to expect. However, like I said earlier, the effectiveness of them has gone down a tad. I used to be able to take just 2 a day, and they would help a lot (one in the morning before work, and one maybe before the gym or leaving my house in the evening. Nowadays, however, I am finding myself taking about 1.5-2 in the morning, and another 1.5-2 some other time in the day. Is it possible that my digestive system is growing tolerant to Chlorophyll? Chlorophyll is a compound, not a medication, not a chemical that works to change the way the body works, but instead the pigment neutralizes sulfur in its internal processes and metabolization (not through antibiotic effects or anything particularly physiological. It's just like an air freshener, an 'internal deodorant' as some call it). So I'm wondering, how am I growing tolerant to something like this? I have thought it was my digestive tract, but I take digestive enzymes, exercise, drink plenty of waters, have done loads of probiotics for long periods of time, etc. I am concerned about thinks working at first and then dropping in effectiveness. I'm not surprised when it happens with antibiotics, but with a pigment like Chlorophyll? Are the bacteria really working hard to produce stronger VSC's (which are merely a byproduct from them and not the purpose of their existence) just to endure the Chlorophyll? Makes no sense.
Also, i am concerned about the high copper content in all Chlorophyll supplements. They are all either derived from copper (they all contain high amounts of copper). Is this safe to take on a daily basis for extended periods of time? Is copper toxic, or excreted from the body?
