Dear Dr. Rosenberg,
You and I have met nearly two years ago. I’ve written to you many times with questions and formed a mutual dialogue with you in my search for a cure. I don’t believe you remember me as we only spoken via emails.
Regardless of the circumstances, I believe your presence on this forum is something we desperately need. The medical/science community can no longer deny the fact that we exist in great numbers and that we are in dire need of help of progressive research that will lead to a long over due medically approved CURE. Though my wish is much premature at this time, I still hope and yearn for the day a cure is realized. After all, there is a cure for virtually every know symptoms and illnesses form fungal toenails to excessive dry eye, but something as demoralizing and serious as chronic halitosis we are left abandoned without hope and recognition.
As you can see there is an overwhelming sense of resentment, anger, and animosity held by the members towards “experts” whom betrayed us by their radical claims that they hold the “cure” for halitosis. However, because we don’t benefit from their products, perhaps our disorder is merely in our head. I wish that was the cause for me because I can be cure by one simple ten minute session with a psychiatrist.
I personally believe that we, (halitosis sufferers vs. halitosis experts) have formed a “love/hate” relationship that unfortunately has been our demise.
I personal welcome your contribution, allow you to experience our sufferings, and our despair. Regardless of your intentions, I ask/propose/beg that you join us, become our support system, allied with us, become our friend, and champion our cause in our search for a cure. Help us to recieve reconitions we need for a cure.

You hold a very noble place in the field of halitosis, with many experts as colleagues, your connections, resources, and nearly two decades of knowledge would greatly further our cause. Would you be willing to advocate for us, become our champion, and further expand the field of halitosis but not merely for discussions, or conferences sake but utilizing the nearly 750 members at Badbreathhalitosis.com and Breathhelp4u for extensive research, feedbacks, empirical studies, consultations that will ultimately lead to a medically viable cure? Tell the world that we are here, waiting, and desperately wanting to be involved with "experts" in the search for a cure.
I don’t see any benefit hating those whom potentially held the key to unlocking our imprisonment.
After all there is not one product (yet) to be endorsed by any halitosis support group such as our’s. The field is left wide open with the potential to be the first with a medical breakthrough, with our help of course. As wrong as it may be, we feel that the vast majority of studies done are questionable because true halitosis sufferers such as ourselves were not included in the studies, otherwise a cure would have been realized a long time ago.
Your twenty years of dedication into this field is appreciated by some. I hope that you would consider becoming our champion to redeem the “love/hate” relationship between the helpers and those who are in need of help such as myself.
Where do you and the members go from here? If we merely exchange dialogues back and forth, we're wasting our time. A cure is at hand. Help us to help oursleves.
