snot bacteria + dairy + sugar

Post by pagmic2 »

It's the post nasal drip snot bacteria that gets on the back of the tongue and throat and thrive on dairy and sugar. Benadryl's not the answer, nor any other medication that dries the mouth, since that keeps the saliva from purifying the mouth. But when I keep the post nasal drip from contaminating my mouth and throat by repeatedly blowing my nose, then eating/drinking dairy or sugar doesn't cause any problems. I'm trying to desensitize myself to dust and ragweed by putting it under my tongue to train my immune system, and praying that it will work and not take a long time (watch out that someone knows when you're doing this so they can take you to the Emergency Room if you have a reaction). But in the meantime, the trick is to rinse your nose with salt water (amoeba-free water that's been boiled long enough to kill the amoeba), and then BEFORE brushing your tongue and roof of mouth you FIRST have to wait until you've rinsed and blown everything out of your sinuses and nose, and then you have to wait a little longer for whatever snot-tainted salt water/mucous might accumulate near the back of your nose and suck that down your throat until it's all gone completely from your nose...only then can you brush your tongue and roof of mouth and put an allergy mask on and finally be free of on-going contamination from continuous post nasal drip. Then you can stop mouth-breathing and drying out the mouth, and also stop breathing allergens and forming post nasal drip. Then you'll notice that eating dairy and sugar don't cause bad breath...God meant us to eat both because He called the Promised Land the land flowing with milk and honey in the Bible. It's entirely possible that pasteurizing and homogenizing milk causes it to coat our tongues by keeping our saliva from removing it in a normal way as God designed raw milk to interact with saliva, so maybe that's part of the problem as well, but anyway, as long as you don't have any other abnormal thing going on like festering tonsil crypts or fungal infections or gum disease, etc, then if you have post nasal drip that's a major problem for fresh breath. Not sure if wearing an allergy mask all day is safe, since maybe it increases your CO2 levels in your blood by reinhaling the CO2 you breath out...the real key is to desensitize yourself to allergens through allergy shots or doing what I'm doing, and clean your house from dust and mold and run an air cleaner or something.
