different bb smells mean what?

i notice my bb doesn't always have the same feel or smell. for example, lately i have been having bb that smells and tastes like garbage. other days, it has been fecal breath, or stale, or sour.
is each smell related to a specific ailment or area that is causing our bb? for example, is there a different smell coming from bb caused by PND, or from the tongue, or from the digestive system?

no one experiences the different smells thing?
i just got back from a date (2nd date).. i am so nervous about getting close to people now. with my ex, we barely kissed and i wonder if it is because of the bb thing, or if it was just him. i was fine not to because of my paranoia about bb so i didn't pursue it (which i normally would more often). with this new person, i am nervous about getting close. also, he told me today that he has a really good sense of smell. my bb was controlled today (not neutral but as good as it can get lately.. you have to get really close to me to notice, i think). the control only lasts a few short hours before it gets bad again.. but to get to this, i rinsed with 4 different rinses over the span of about 3 hours. i brushed my teeth and scraped my tongue and then i rinsed with 2 different chlorine dioxide rinses (one of them was dioxirinse, the other is one i get from my dentist.. neither work for long on their own). i then irrigated my gums using just water with my hydrofloss machine. then i took a nap for about 1.5 hours. when i woke up, i brushed, flossed, scraped my tongue, and then i used the hydrofloss again but this time with 20 drops of GSE. i also also used a neti pot with 21 drops of grapefruit seed extract (GSE) and 1 drop of oil of oregano. then i gargled with water containing the 2 extracts as well, then rinsed with smart mouth and then half an hour later, with chlorhexidine. then i was ready to go out. i had some alcoholic drinks which might have helped keep the bb at bay a bit (not sure). i then brushed afterwards and rinsed and could feel the bb getting stronger. anyway, i know i am lucky to be able to sometimes (when i am lucky) keep it under control a bit better than some of you and that my bb is not room filling.. but i still feel like shit because of it. i hate that this guy has a strong sense of smell. maybe he could already smell it. i can usually tell when i have bb - i can smell it on myself and taste it. there are prob times when i think i am fine when i am not though. i also wonder if i think i have it under control but actually it is worse than i think it is. however, this guy didn't back away or act like he noticed.. but i dunno. we had enough distance between us, across the table. and we didn't kiss. if we did, he would notice. i am too nervous about it to get close enough to kiss him.
i did all of the above (which i don't usually do cuz it doesn't help that much anyway) because i figured something ought to work or maybe the combo of it would knock the bacteria out at least long enough for me to go on this date.

On the subject of different odours, this kind of technology could soon help a lot of people identify what's causing their BB and where the odour is coming from.
If your date can't smell your BB, then great. But if he can then he might be able to help you to solve it.

It looks like it's only measuring what comes from the lungs, but no reason why it can't be adapted to test for "less serious" issues like the various causes of halitosis.
I meant if your date has such a good sense of smell, and they can smell any bad breath, they may want to help you to solve your BB.

i definitely don't want my date to be doing this. i barely know him. if someone i just started dating asked me to do this, it would be a huge turnoff...

lol, I'm sorry. I meant eventually if the relationship grows.
