I spoke to the wimbledon clinic to get an ozone treatment when reading that it has antibacterial effects and can detox the body for a day or two.

They told me to come for a full assessment, which includes:

Prognos
A diagnostic and therapy system that combines the knowledge of ancient Chinese medicine and the modern technology in one machine and for the first time provides a real opportunity towards analyse the root cause of sickness. Decoder analysis
This is a whole body scan measuring energy levels and focal disturbances in segments of the body. It also evaluates energy reserve patterns, stress, inflammatory process, and glandular or thyroid disorders. The decoder analysis can also be used to monitor the effectiveness of treatment programmes.
Where it is considered necessary, further tests may be employed which could include: Full Blood Screen, Hormonal Profiles, Blood allergy screens, comprehensive digestive stool analysis, fatty acid, mineral analysis and amino acid profiles, cardiac risk factor test, profiles for parasitic and fungal infections.

It costs quite a lot....


Waste of money or did any of these tests help anyone diagnose their condition?

So I went to the clinic and had the assessment which included the three different types of tests.

Not really fully convinced that they are accurate...but interesting that the Dr said that it seems to be ENT related and two of the tests seemed to point towards that.

He still advised to continue my diet...but also gave me xin yi san pills to take regularly..which has been known to help against alerrgic rhinitis.

Also advised that I should use more hydrogen peroxide up to 6 times a day and also use it as a nasal spray.

I'm also going to have the ozone therapy...just to see if it does any good.

Anyone tried any of these treatments yet?

Yes I tried three or four rectal ozone treatments at the Wimbledon clinic and they made me feel really clean but, unfortunately, were not effective in reducing my tmau odour. Very costly too. I felt they were beneficial to my overall gut health but they were just too expensive.

I have also tried drinking food grade hydrogen peroxide with distilled water for a few weeks. I do not recommend it to anyone, although I personally didn't notice any bad effects from it. The odour did not change at all.

I also tried inhaling oxygen daily in a decompression chamber at a multiple sclerosis centre in Harrow for 5 weeks. At the same time I was doing a specific carbohydrate diet (SCD). Again, I felt fine but had no improvement in odour.

I think ozone therapies are great and can help deal with a lot of infections in a safe way without the nasty side effects of medication. However, I have read one criticism about it in a book I read about achieving the ideal pH for the body. 'The pH Miracle' says that ozone treatments do not help us achieve a more alkaline body and, according to Dr Young (author) pH balance is essential for optimum health.

Hope I haven't disheartened you. My body's odour problem is very complex, but maybe yours can be helped by these kinds of therapies. I hope so, but be careful with those consultations... lots of money ...
