Hi FinallyFree,
Please tell me your ENTIRE life story of suffering bb: what you have tried, what you found worked or didn't work, your diet, the diets that you have tried prior to finding smart mouth, the situations that led to you knowing you had bad breath, people's reactions towards you, what you ate when you were young, what your parents/friends say (in exact wording), etc. I'd like a 2000 word story before I am willing to believe you (and don't go copying a story off other people's story). Also, I do not believe in using unnecessary products to achieve fresh breath when I have the possibility of not having to use unnecessary products to achieve long term fresh breath (because people with long term fresh breath don't need to use mouthwash or gum). People like you piss me off.
Thank you.

Wow! FlavouredPig, that was totally unexpected. I was so happy to share a success story FOR ME only to be Snapped on by you. Smh... Whether you try SM or not is on you. However, if you have done research enough on bb you will know that there is at least 10 billion types of bacteria living in the mouth. You will also know that NOBODY knows why one person has bb with perfect oral health and the next person with even more perfect oral health doesn't have bb. Having bb in the first place is embarrassing let alone coming on a site like this and telling people that I've lost a job and friends. Have you ever heard of"oil pulling"? Well google that Pig! Because that too was on my list of hopeful remedies in addition to all of the other BS I've tried, Now pardon me if this essay is shy if 2000 words. But frankly, I don't give a damn if you try it or not. After changing my diet, giving up dairy, eating parsley till my stomach hurt, drinking chlorophyll, and a bunch of other crap that didn't work, I'm finally free! I've been using Smart Mouth for less than a week and so far it is working wonders for me. Again, I couldn't care less whether or not you try it BUT if you're anything like the rest of us who are on here in hopes that something actually works, you'll try anything. Oh, and btw once you try it and it works for you...YOU'RE WELCOME! P.s... LA Times did an article about SM but I found that out AFTER I started using it. I DID know that the BBB put the product to the test and it came out smelling like roses. The only drawback for me is that in that in the beginning you will experience a little dry mouth but that goes away. You also have to spend a little extra time because it comes in two parts but so what.I would take a whole hour extra if I had to. Even people with naturally fresh breath use mouthwash as part of their daily routine some don't. WE may just be those people who have to use a mw until there is a cure. There is no cure for body odor either but I bet your ass will put on deodorant every day.

For the record, I've tried Breath rx, TheraBreath, Tom's, peroxide baking soda mixture, brushing with all natural soap, water pic, oil pulling, tongue scrapping (still do this), probioticss, oral probiotics, internal breath freshener pills, Crest Pro Health. I ask my kids because we all know how honest little ones are. SmartMouth is the only one that works even after hours! I went back to drinking coffee just to see if I could and according to my child, I didn't have "poopy breath" anymore. I hope this helps somebody. My intentions are good. Just try it! If it doesn't work take it back and get your money. I never said this was a cure but it will surely do in the interim.

I'm sorry to hear that, Jeff. I truly am. I also take a daily probiotic and in the morning, I eat a cup of Greek yogurt which is full of the "good bacteria". I do that because the Smart Mouth prevents the bad bacteria from multiplying and releasing the foul odor. So I eat the yogurt to replace it with the good bacteria. I am certain to do it twice a day. OH! I also got the Advanced Formula one too. Not the regular. Others have tried the apple cider vinegar and some the activated charcoal and have had success. Again, I'm sorry. I know what its like. I have cried myself to sleep many nights because of this affliction. I once had a co-worker call me sh$t mouth back in 2002 and it devastated me. I quit the job. I pray that all of us find some type of solution because this can be debilitating. Jeff, if you haven't tried the Advanced Formula Smart Mouth, give it a shot. People on Amazon are ranting and raving about it.
Warmest Regards,
FF

Maybe I am, Stankie. However, I've read several testimonials by people who have had chronic bb and used this product much longer than me. I guess I'm excited because for once my breath is fresh toward the end of the day instead of reverting back to the toilet that it usually is within 15 minutes or less. I completely stopped with the mouthwash because it made my situation worse. A close friend said it just made my breath smell like do-do mints. Since nothing else was working I just figured what the heck. What can trying this one hurt? So I tried it and am enjoying the ride. If after the "placebo" phase wears off and my breath becomes putrid again, God fobid, I'll make note of it here. Until then, I'm going to lol with my mouth uncovered and enjoy being"normal" even if only for a week. Let's just try it! *shrugs*

FinallyFree, I saw your post this morning, and I was going to delete it because it looked like typical spam, but I decided not to because I've seen it said many times that SmartMouth helps with Type-1 (intra-oral) bad breath. It's Zinc based, and anyone with Type 1-BB should try every type of Zinc based product they can get their hands on because it does usually help. I have tried lots of zinc based products over the years for type-1 BB and it gave me a sustained improvement, even with a sewage factory going on in my mouth.
People should always be encouraged to come on here and report anything that helps them, not be discouraged. We all know spam when we see it and we don't need any heavy-handed moderating on here unless it's absolutely obvious and necessary.
FinallyFree, well done for discovering something that has helped you and thank you for coming on here to inform us. please come back in a month's time to let us know how you're doing. Anyone who has been battling BB will know that a week of good breath does not mean anything, so please keep going and let us know if you manage to sustain this improvement.

I was told that my bb could be smelled when breathing through my nose but I am not sure if that's where its coming from or from the back of my throat. I'll be sure to keep with the SM as prescribed for a month at least and get back to you all. I'm sorry if I'm wasting people's time. I just got so excited about my breath finally being good after all these years that I stayed up late last night looking for sites to tell people. I'll be diligent and give a good report in a month. Others are having fecal breath and after months of use they still have fb. I hope it works for me as well.
