Most research say Volatile Sulphur Compounds are responsible for most sufferers' stench.

So... the idea of this diet is to minimize the fuel needed for those compounds to form.

I've tried this for a couple of weeks and the odor reduction from saliva/tongue is obvious.

SOME LINKS:

Unrelated to our problem, but Low-Sulphur nonetheless...

LIST OF SULPHUR CONTENT:

WHAT TO EAT:

The main challenge is to get enough calories. It's similar to a plant-based diet, though even more restrictive :-({|=.

So far, I've picked food with less than 35mg sulphur / 100g, from that list. Lentils (red + green) are the only protein-heavy foods that seem okay so far. The list doesn't include some 'new arrivals' like tofu, so I guess it's trial-&-error!

If anyone wanna try this, let's collect food ideas right here 8).
