I'm hoping, by relating my symptoms to yours, you can help me better diagnose the source of my breath problem. I know we are all going in different directions here with tonsil crypts on one end and digestive problems at the other, but I truly believe certain origins do produce different, though sometimes overlapping, symptoms that make them distinguishable.
Let me just say that I would rate my breath to be pretty bad. I believe it comes out of both my nose and mouth, although I have to be honest that I'm not certain whether the breath coming out my mouth or nose is stronger. I might be inclined to actually go with my nose, but that's only because I can never smell the breath coming out of my mouth. Of if I can, it doesn't smell bad. The breath coming out my nose I can only smell by placing my finger or something directly underneath it and timing it just right (think how ridiculous this would sound to anyone else...).
Anyway, I have post nasal drip, allergies which I'm getting treated for, and I've noticed that when I do the "lick hand test" it doesn't really smell at all. It will, however, smell when stick my finger way back into areas where tongue scrapers don't really reach, then there is a definite smell.
My reactions from people usually include sniffling and not much else. Does anyone else get this reaction? Apparently my breath causes other people noses to run?

Anywho, I really don't know where my problem lies though, as I know most of you are having a hard time figuring out your own source, but if you could point in some direction that would be nice because on the 11th of next month I'm going to see my ENT and I need to know what to ask him to do. Should I have him check my tonsils? I went there on the 11th of this month to get a CT and the results should be in on my next visit, I suppose that's when I'll tell him about the bb. Also, is there any tests I can have him do to measure the pH/ level anaerobic bacteria in my mouth?
Thanksyou.
