hi,
i found out the reason for my bb, it's for sure my furry tongue.
i read that long use of antibiotics can cause hairy tongue and hairy tongue cuase bb because the anaerobic bacteria have a place to sit.
someone have also experience this kind of a problem after use of antibiotics?
someone knows if there is a solution for the hairy tongue? because it's not something i had before the antibiotics.

furry/hairy tongue after antibiotics
my solution to my bb case
hello again,
as i said in this topic above my problem is the tongue! all the bad smell and bad breath is becuase of the tongue. not a dental problems or a gum problem of any internal (stomach/liver) problems.
the thing is that my tongue always looks white with coating and this coating is the anaerobic bacteria that sit on the filiform papillae. my filiform papillae changed after a long use of antibiotics. my papillae lengthened more than normal papillae should be and the anaerobes had a good place to stay between these hairy papillae.
i can't believe that i didn't notice this problem so many years! i've suffered so much. the thing is that i always read about tongue cleaners and all that and i also use them but apparently didn't use them right.
i really want to help people who suffers bb. i'm begging you if you think that your problem is coming from the tongue and not from the gums, if you lick your wrist and have awful smell your problem is the tongue.
please try what i'm telling you here.
all you need is a good tongue scrapper. i suggest gum brand scraper. it's only 3 dollars.
what you need to do is scrap your tongue really hard but be aware not to hurt your tongue and bleed. by this action you kind of "cutting" the elongated papillae. you should scrap for at least one minute. put the tongue scrapper as deep as you can and scrape down to the front of tongue, with a little pressure on the tongue so you actually can see the white papillae shorten.
after you do this you may still have bb because the tongue is still full of anaerobes you should wash your mouth with water. if you want to be sure you don't have bb you can use hydrogen peroxide dilluted with water 1 to 5. i mean 5 times more water than hydrogen peroxide. after that for sure your tongue is clean from any kind of anaerobes that causes bb from the tongue. the thing is that the hydrogen peroxide is not so good for long treatment. i suggest you not to use it more than once a day 7 days.
the most important thing is to scrap really good and hard as much as you can. stand in front of the mirror and scrap as long as you can the tongue.
my mistake was that i was using the tongue scrapper with 5-6 scrappes and i thought it's enough. it's not. you need to really scrap the elongated papillae and it's not so easy. you need to scrap as many time as you can as long as you can. i did it 3-4 times a day couple of minutes each time. and i'm still doing it and hopefully soon i would not have to do it and my tongue will be as she was before all the antibiotics i took that made my papillae to elongate. today i can go out from home and be sure that i my breath is good.
if you have any thoughts or questions i'm here for you.

Re: furry/hairy tongue after antibiotics
This might offend u but u are making your bb chronic which will never ever end by any means .
Let me tell u a point .
Nobodys tongue has more than a natural ( practically invisible ) fissures .
After antibiotics , what u see on tongue is keratine gunk which has straight away come from ur stomach and intestines .
Remembr the origin is still down there but apears oral .
Once treated well , all of it gets vanished in a day .
Believe it or not .
By scraping hardest and using the killer ennemy Hydrogen Peroxide , u are creating artificial groves which will never go away as u created them .
