Simple method for bb resulting from nose

Hello everyone, I am happy that I found this site in which we can all share our stories. What does a doctor tells you when you complain of bad breath: just brush your teeth and tongue, not brushing them can cause bad breath. Wow, as if we did not try that, you come to the doctor with a whole bunch of experiments you tried and he/she tells you to clean your teeth!
Most doctors under estimate this problem and do not give much time to consider it or much help to the patient. I like to share my experience with bb with you, if someone can benefit from my experiment, it would make me really happy. Cause I really know what pain bb can cause, and how strong impact on our lives it can have.
If someone has tonsils, I suggest just remove them. I tried all cures but when I removed them, bb due to tonsils stopped. But I think the most difficult bb to cure is that coming from the nose. Any bb from the mouth is reachable, high hygiene can very much help with it. But the nose, it’s impossible to get in and clean it as easy unfortunately.
I have post nasal drip as a result of allergy, I tried many medicines but it did not work. Recently I tried a simple method that actually did work and I liked to share it with others. This method is “brushing” my nose, as I brush my teeth to remove food sources to bacteria, I started flushing and cleaning my nose as a habit daily, up to 10 times a day, even more in high allergy dusty seasons.
Whenever the mucus accumulates, bb results. Flushing the nose frequently with water helps moving and liquidizing the mucus. Also goggling the back of your throat with salty water can help in releasing the mucus stuck there, so try spiting “sucking” mucus from the back of your throat twice to three times daily.
This definitely helps, the bacteria will have little time to feed on mucus and the water cleans the nasal passages. There is also a small pot used in yoga to put water from one nostril and out of the other. That is also very efficient. Hope that helps

If anyone is suffering from severe nasal congestion due to allergy symtoms, PND, sneezing and running nose, purchase NEIL MED, Sinus rinse. It comes in an 8oz sqeeze bottle that is pressurized, and unlike the Netipot, neil med is 10times more effective in relieving PND and congestion.
One You try the neil med you will throw away the neti pot.

This is in my opinion the best nasal irrigator out there, but unfortenately pretty expensive. It makes my mucous less thick and dry, but I'm not sure if it really helps fighting bb.
Btw to those who use it too: Does it matter if you use kitchen salt to irrigate your nose instead of the nasal saline salt they recommend?

, I've been using table salt for ages now (which is basically 99.9% NaCl + some anti clocking additive). So what am I supposed to use instead? Sea salt? Anyone know a good brand? I went into a health food store yesterday and they had like four different types of sea salt. The store was full of hippies so I had to escape before being able to pick a brand.

Doctors said don't use salt. WHATEVER. What does he/she know? He didn't know squat about your problem, but somehow he knows this? I take everything they say... with a grain of salt. Maybe they don't want you to find a cure.
Anyway, I use the Breathe Ease powder that comes with it. I usually put in a little sea salt (not a lot, common sense) sometimes, I add baking soda, or hydro perox...again just a bit.
I am not saying that it will help BB, but when you see the crap coming out of your nose, you know it is beneficial. Let me stress that I don't think I have the nasal odor problem, but sometimes if I clean my nose with a kleenex, it stinks.
I only irrigate once or twice a week BTW.

A doc told me its ok to irrigate with plain salt, but she didn't say if its ok to do so for regular irrigation.

Weird, my ENT told me I could use kitchen salt. But ya know, u go to this one it tells u do this, u go to another one and he tells u to do the complete opposite. I hope when it comes to really serious problems, they are not like that.

hey, more on salt

hmmm... table salt irritates my nose. y not try your local drugstore for saline wash and let your nose be the judge? ENT said saline is closer to the body's salt compostion or something... HTH.

I will try the grossan nasal irrigation soon, for now I am using tap water to rinse my nose, I asked my ENT about that and he said it is ok, it is more practical for me than adding salt or using salin drops. Years ago I used the salin drops, I used the bottle for two weeks, each time I insert it quit deeply in my nose, and I never cleaned the tip of the bottle after usage, so I developed an infection in my nose, I though not cleaning the tip might be the cause. My ENT was not sure about that, he said well maybe

everything is maybe for them
So if I ever need to use saline drops now especially when traveling, I wipe the tip of the bottle with alcohol after each use.
I wish medicine was an exact science, in which everything has a cause, sometimes I feel that my ENT is floating in information, and he can’t really analyze a problem. I am sure many of us just hate ENT’s, they can’t solve half of the problems of ear, nose and throat

doctors are just normal people

, they all have opinions, they didn't all go to the same schools, and they don't know everything. They can't admit that to you though, else they look stupid. You know, they "earned" that shiny Rolex on their wrist.
I tell you, a doctor that lies should be put in jail. What is the point?
Anyway, the one up there ^^ who uses straight water to irrigate? Ouch. You will love adding some saline.
