A question and some helpful links for everyone

Post by hopeful »

I've been eating pretty healthy for awhile now trying to improve my digestive condition. I'm still taking chlorella, spirulina and probiotics(for over 2 months now). Haven't noticed any changes at all unfortunately. Anyways, I had a small lapse today and ate a bag of sunchips(a brand of potato chips) and as soon as I finished them, I flossed, brushed and rinsed my mouth right away. I had a nap and after 3 hours, I woke up with the flavor of the chips in my mouth(very acidic and unpleasant). Does this happen to anyone else? After you eat something really flavorful(artifical or natural), the taste doesn't leave you? Is this an indication that my condition is more than oral. I mean, after you brush and floss, shouldn't the taste be gone??

Off topic, I found a website that sells sugarless vitamin C that ships internationally. The product is not made by GNC but it's basically the same thing. http://pharmacydirect.resultspage.com/s ... &w=vitelle. The price is really good. I'm only ordering this because GNC doesn't ship internationally.

I'm also upping my intake of probiotics. I've been taking the 2 billion capsule but found a website that sells a 35 billion capsule(yes, that's right, 35 billion!). Here is the website if anyone's interested. http://www.customprobiotics.com.

Anyone else with digestive issues who wants to try a good colon cleanse, this is a little advertised product I found while researching the web. It's not as famous as the Dr. Natura cleanse but apparently much better priced while being more effective. It's http://www.bowtrol.com/colon-cleanser/.

I also ordered the Smartmouth starter kit, some smartmouth gum and some BIotene toothpaste for dry mouth through http://www.dentist.net. I will let everyone know how well it works after I receive the products.

I'm not pushing any products or advertising for any company. I've suffered from bb for a LONG time now and like somebody else mentioned on another thread, I don't plan on sitting around while waiting for a miracle to happen. I've been let down by other products before(oxyfresh, Breath Rx) and I don't have access to a gastroenterologist or ENT right now(2 more months) so this is the best I can do in the meantime. It's a lot of money to spend but I can afford it right now. I would be willing to spend my life savings which is not much since I'm only 25(around $30 000 US) to solve this problem. Thanks Jimi for this site. It has been such a godsend(along with the yahoo group breathhelp4u). Let's work together to find some relief.

Hope it helps you Mico. Just a note about the shipping with Custom Probiotics. They list the shipping as $30 US on their website. This is because they use Fedex. I emailed them and requested regular airmail and the shipping was much, much cheaper(I think it was $11 USD). They even sent me a scan of the receipt for the shipping charges.

Potato chips of any kind is one of the worst causes of bad breath for me. I basically avoid them more so than any other foods because of it.

I would agree that potato chips is one of the worst things for my breath. When I want something salty and crunchy, I usually reach for pretzels, popcorn or almonds instead as the taste doesn't linger, especially after I brush afterwards. Of course none of these ever taste as good as a bag of chips .

All my items are on their way(Smartmouth, vit c, colon cleanse, super strength probiotics) now and I'm looking forward to experimenting with everything.

Yay! My 500gram sugarless vitamin C order and Probiotics(50 billion microorganisms/cap) came in today!!! I live in Asia and thought it would definitely take a couple of weeks but they both arrived in just under a week(from Australia for the vitamin c and the U.S. for the Probiotics). Customs also called me about the arrival of my Colon and Parasite Cleanser. I have to pay a little bit of duties on it because I ordered the 6 month supply so I'll have that early next week too. Woo hoo! Now, I just have to wait for my Smartmouth to arrive and phase one of trying to figure out my bb and getting some relief from bb is hopefully underway. So happy today!

Just don't try them all together so you can find out the source of your problem and they also may interfere with each other.
